Easiest driver experience – My husband loves this car as a sporty, performance vehicle. Excellent road handling and grip. Luxuriously styled interior and fabulous Harmon Karden sound system. However, due to Covid and mobility issues, we have been doing long cross country drives and this car made it so easy! Joyful drive at all the time – Only using it for holiday or long drive. Best car to travel in the city or countryside. Only car wash and petrol station and twice a year visiting the service station. Show details

Disappointing – Well, my 2017 E400 Coupe has been causing me nothing but issues since taking ownership of it as a new/demonstrater vehicle, that the service department for my dealer either takes several attempts to resolve or still can't resolve. quality product. Of those faults, the squeaking coming from the suspension/running gear seem to be the worst.

Since taking ownership, there has been a varying level of high pitch squeaking coming from the car, I've had the vehicle back to the service centre numerous times with no resolution. I'm taking it in today again to see if they can offer me solution.

So far they have, swapped the rear suspension from left to right, to identify where the noise was coming from, which resulted in them swapping the right suspension. The noise persisted and has moved to the front now as well as the back.

Various other trouble shooting options have been explored including removing and refitting the tyres, glaceing the brakes, etc. But still the issue remains.

Obviously, as a consumer in Australia, you are covered by certain consumer protection laws which relate to provision of products being 'fit for purpose and operating as expected. I'm seeking a resolution from Mercedes Australia, before I look at the options that are open to me.

Mass of technology poorly thought throgh – I bought a new E220d coupe earlier this year on the basis of the clams by MB that it is the most'intelligent' car in the market. describes instruments which don't actually exist in the car.

Functions can be manipulated by numeroously duplicated instruments spread over the control surfaces. In the central consol there is a touch pad sitting over the top of another instrument that does the same thing, but just gets in the way.

The GPS works occasionally, but not in certain regional areas. I have given up entirely on the voice activated GPS.

Even something as simple as the radio is made to be increadably complex, but fails to have a scan function.

Perferct Car – I have this amazing car since 3 weeks ago and to be honest it is amazing car I’ve ever had. It is a high-tech and so comfortable car. The technology is amazing!! – Driving experience is amazing with the diesel, expecially on the highway Can be noisy when speeding up but once your moving can't hear it!
