Overpriced – Hi. The underwear is very comfortable but the merino material degrades quickly. I bought a pair of Wundies on the 18th of August of this year and the bottom has already worn out in 3 or 4 different places. I'm very disappointed because I paid a premium for my Wundies thinking they would last.. I'll be switching over to Bushy's underwear going… Read more

Hi, I have since been informed by Merino Country that their underwear is apparently so delicate that it must be washed on its own. After a few months of wear I can confirm my Bushy's are comfier, more durable, and CHEAPER.
Elastic and Sizing Issues $400 Down the Drain – I bought 12 pairs of women's high cut knickers. That's a cost of $450.64 PLUS SHIPPING (you don't even get a break on shipping for a large order) but if they had been WHAT I ORDERED I wouldn't mind. Of the 12 ordered, I can wear exactly TWO. As I had previously purchased one pair, and they were ok, I checked the size was the same, and even… Read more
rang the company to check before putting through the order. ALL OF THESE ARE LABELLED M. But only 2 of them are M size. The beige ones (2) with beige elastic are super comfy. But every single other colour uses the black elastic and it seems they have STRETCHED the elastic to its absolute maximum when sewing it on. Or its faulty elastic that just doesn't stretch or give (as others have also complained). THIS IS CLEARLY NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE! I cant wear the other 10 for more than 30 minutes without being in agony they cut in so much. Australian Consumer Law is clear. If not fit for purpose or not as described the seller MUST refund. But the sellers position is NO REFUNDS ON UNDERWEAR. So I tried washing them a heap of times hoping the elastic would loosen. IT"S TIGHTER! In another unhappy customers post here they have blamed it was ON SALE. These were FULL PRICE. And even if they were on sale, if NOT AS DESCRIBED or NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE they have to refund anyway.
Their invoice comes with a how to care for merino etc. WASH BEFORE WEARING. But if you wash them, they are no longer NEW and so that can be another reason to refuse a return. Treating DEFECTIVE GOODS as if its a change of mind return is not what is expected (or enforced) under Australian Consumer Law. https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/problem-with-a-product-or-service-you-bought/repair-replace-refund-cancel#repair-replacement-or-refund
I AM SEEKING A REFUND ON 10 OF THE 12 PAIRS I BOUGHT. As 10 of them are not as described, not fit for purpose (being able to actually wear them) and the fact that TWO of them are actually as ordered, and the same as the original pair I bought, then clearly means THE OTHER 10 ARE FAULTY.
Please contact me and arrange for a return shipping label (paid by you) and on receipt issue me with a refund for the 10 faulty pairs I received.
EDIT: After I created this review and showed mine and others who have had major issues and no solution from this business, the website was changed. Adding every single complaint as EXCLUDED from refunds or returns. So pretty much as of now, it says your size could be ANYTHING and their size charts are just a rough guide. Their measurements are also not to be relied on and its all "personal choice" apparently. Except you have no control over what you will get, until you've got it, and find out if it will fit, or not. And if it's wrong, or defective they also expect YOU to ship it back and they THEY will decide what happens. But every single thing about this is UNLAWFUL.
If something was not disclosed AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE so it could be part of the decision on whether you would buy or not, then it cannot be used. If a major fault (like elastic a full 30cm LESS around the waist than advertised) then they, not us, are supposed to pay return shipping. These won't. Their warranty form says they will decide IF something gets replaced or repaired (absolutely no option for refund) but Consumer Law states that in the case of a major fault (NOT AS DESCRIBED would be a major fault) the BUYER is the one who decides, and it includes the option for refund.
I had paid with PayPal so I opened a PayPal case. Normally any seller will reply in the case. But not this one. ZERO REPLIES. I uploaded all the measurements and photographs and screenshots of others having the same problems. But they did not reply at all. Instead they emailed me with more nonsense and excuses. This case has now been escalated to a claim on PayPal. I have posted their dodgy underwear back to them. But I had to pay for it. Its been sent by tracked mail. But here comes the next problem, THEIR ADDRESS IS A PO BOX IN LOGANHOLME. This situation sometimes results in NO PROOF OF DELIVERY. So I guess we'll see.
But why would an AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS with MADE IN AUSTRALIA GOODS not use their actual manufacturing and business address? If there is one.
I will update this review after delivery and paypal is concluded.
Uncomfortable elastic bands – Wundies Women classic Full Merino Brief. I bought one pair, and would not purchase again. Although the size was appropriate, I found the elasticized leg and waist band to be a bit abrasive against my skin. For a day of bushwalking, they were not especially comfortable. Show details
Great product, however be careful with sizing – Ordered four pairs of men's underpants and am very happy with the quality and customer service. The one thing I would say is be careful with what size you order as they don't refund for underpants because of hygiene reasons (understandable). On the website it says they have generous sizing however I found that they are about the same size as… Read more · 1
any other underpants I have purchased. As a result I now have some extremely well made underpants that cost a bomb that are very tight fitting. I would still recommend this company as the quality seems very good just make sure you get the correct size.
Measurements on website misleading – I made purchases based on the measurements supplied on the website. They did not fit right when they arrived. When I contacted the company they were firm on their no refund policy for sale items even though they were the ones who provided incorrect information. Very expensive and now I am out of pocket over $100. I do not recommend purchasing from them online. Show details

They are super comfortable and last a really long time. Real value for money – I first bought some a few years ago and they’re still in good condition. Can’t be beaten on comfort and real value money. Highly recommend. Show details
These Wundies saved my sanity – I bought 2 pairs of ladies "Wundies" wool longjohns and they are the best investment ever. I work outside in the cold, biting wind and these keep me toasty warm when worn under my jeans. So much so that I went back for a second order and got myself a singlet, some leggings for my granddaughter and also for my husband. Oh yeah and the full briefs… Read more
for me. I got a size medium and they aren't 'tight' but they you wouldn't want them any tighter and I am usually a size 14. I might also add that in terms of my 3 year old granddaughter that these are soooo much better for her than fully polyester leggings and undies that you are faced with at large retailers...I won't be too frank here but ladies, you know what I mean...wool breathes and keeps all your nether regions healthy. Fully Australian made and they all come with easy-to-read and follow care instructions. I have been impressed at how quickly they dry inside on a drying rack and no "pilling" so far after several months of washing. I wear a pair every day.
Not the quality I was expecting for the price – I purchased a 4 pack of Australian Made woolen underpants for my husband for Christmas. The price of $126 was high but I was prepared to pay for quality Australian made products. However, after only washing them 8 times in the washing machine, as their website says you can. They began to totally disintegrate, it looked like they had been eaten… Read more
by moths. I sent them a photo and they claimed they had been bleached or affected by acid, this was not the case, my husband is a builder he doesn't use acid. Then they claimed it could be his tool belt, he doesn't wear a tool belt. I sent them back as requested and was told they have definitely been affected by a chemical like bleach or whiteners. We live on a farm with a septic system so are very careful with our products, I only use Omo Sensitive in a front load washing machine. After several attempts at getting a resolution I was told that it was the way they were being washed as Omo has whiteners in it and they would send another pair as a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately, they have never arrived. Why is this only happening to 1 colour from the 4 pack? Why doesn't their website clearly state that they must be washed using special detergents? After all, who is going to segregate men's undies to wash in a special wool wash, especially in summer when you aren't wearing jumpers.
