Good tool - hopeless service from Metabo and its agent – I bought the drill from Toolmart, Midvale to use in bathroom renovation. months with many telephone calls for Toolmart and Metabo to get their act together and repair the drill. Part of the striker mechanism had fractured!

The drill had sat in Toolmart for 2 weeks before any action taken because they did not have my address (they did have telephone number though). Turns out registering online is a waste of time as Metabo does not share info with agent??? Go figure that.

I have had the drill back a couple of weeks and it seems fine now although only seeing light use.

The drill is very powerfull and although function selection is via a very hard to move selector the multifunction capability is great. Great tool when working - multifunction very convenient. Totally hopeless warranty service.
