Absolutely disgusting (cannot use more appropriate language) – Ordered some Air-Powered nail Gun plus a box of 50 nails to go with it on Dec 26, 2023 and to this day (April 8, 2024) have not received the item. I had plenty of to and from emails with these guys, always stating that they 'here to assist' but but nothing happens. Tracking numbers provided do not work as the reference web site is a dead duck. name 'Metro Edge' is a trading (?) name but the company behind appears to be "Living Easy Australia Pty Ltd". I have raised a refund request but the silence is deafening. This company is a shocker and people should stay well clear of ordering anything thru or via them!!!
False advertising – Ordered this product on the 4/2/24. They advertise as a small Australian family business which is false, try China. The product is over priced compared to other Chinese versions of the same product. It is now the 27/2/24 and nothing has arrived. Tracking is dated as 2022. Stay clear.
Metro Edge Lifting Arm – False advertising of product and using a reputable company, ( VIKING ARM ), to suck people in. They are rogues who mislead people about the quality of their lifting arm. No phone number and no way of contacting them as they hide behind a computer with no consequences. The worst company, by far, I have ever dealt with.
This site is a scam – Brought a pair of clamps, when the item arrived it was not what was advertised on their web site. Very poor quality direct from china not from australia as advertised. Tried to contact them and you just get the run around. Buyer beware.
Total scam. Waited for 2 months for items to arrive. Nothing but lies and excuses – Two items were ordered on 7/12/23. Tracking information provided indicated that goods were sent on 18/12/23 but were "returned to sender" on 30/12/23 without explanation. After numerous enquiries, a new tracking number was provided on 8/1/24. As of 7/2/24, there is nothing to indicate that the goods have even left China. metroedge.com.au… Read more
provides no physical address, no phone number, no ABN. However, my investigation reveals that the business is based in Brisbane and has not registered the name metroedge - only the domain name. I have demanded a full refund but my request has been ignored.
Price rip off and bait advertising – I ordered the product with an advertised 50% discount for $149.99. Within 12 hours the product was available for about $88. At this stage I sent emails to cancel my order before shipping. It turns out the product is sourced and shipped from a factory in China. Subsequently I was informed that the product had been shipped and how sad too bad for… Read more
me. Then I frequently checked the Metro Edge side and found the use of bait advertising: claims of small numbers (must be a very tiny factory in China) alongside a pressuring countdown clock. A screenshot from one website check is attached. Buyers beware.
