Never Again! – Brought a truck for 95k :: wouldn't drop a cent :: wouldn't even fill the tank! :: we were 2 hrs away wouldn't deliver :: flat battery FIRST DAY $350 :: clutch faulty 2ND DAY $3000 after gear box was pulled out by them.... :: Their reply- we"ll sell u another clutch "Bud" Gee thanks.

Terrible Customer Service – We recently purchased a 7 Ton Tipper from Midcoast trucks. After seeing photos sent to us , ( as we live 7 hours from their truck yard ) we purchased this truck without physically seeing it. We were told it was in very good condition. to Midcoast trucks. We then arranged a mutual day for pick-up. Three days before pick-up , we were sent an email , if we would like 4 x New Tyres for $800. We phoned the Salesman Terry Smith a day later and said " No Thankyou ".

On pick-up day we were given an extra invoice for $800 for the new tyres which had to be paid immediately before we could take the truck.We said to Terry Smith that we did not want the tyres. He said , they had already put the tyres on the truck , so we just had to pay it. We asked then for the old tyres to be put back on. Terry then said, that they had already disposed them. Terry got very very cranky , shouting at us when we refused to pay.We asked to see the owner of the business , and told him what had just happen.

The owner then said if you dont want to pay the $800 we will cancel the contract.

So , they cancelled the contract. The same truck was advertised one day later on the net for $10,000 more than our agreed price.. We have never ,ever ,been treated so badly whilst making a purchase by any business.

We will never buy anything from this business again !!!!!
