Good washing machine, doesn't display time – This machine washes well. It doesn't hold very many clothes before it is full, but it wasn't really a problem. It hasn't worn out any of my clothes in the almost one year that I have been using it. The spin is quite loud, but pretty much what I expected in a machine this price. I do not like the fact that it doesn't display the time that each setting will take nor the time remaining (there is no display at all), this is a feature that I really missed. The settings are basic, but they are okay.

Great front load washer – I like this washing machine a lot, I used this brand of washing machine back I was in China, it has multiple functions you can use from the machine, wash your underwear, different fabrics of clothes, they also have 15 mins quick wash selection, which save lots of time and power.

Long cycles, loud spinning and unable to contact customer service with issues – This machine offers either a 15 min cycle or a 90+ minute cycle, often over two hours. The spin cycle is really loud and intrusive. Water is heated in the machine meaning more energy used and longer cycles. I am also having issues with the machine displaying drainage pump issues and have cleaned out the pump and now the error has changed to a water inlet issue, I cannot get hold of customer service for advice, their phone number just rings out, I have tried every number on their website. Extremely unreliable for a company that claims to be reputable.

Single? This is the washing machine for you! – The midea mfws512 front loading washing machine is great for people who are single. If you are part of a couple, expect to have to do washing everyday. The 5kg capacity is suitable for a single person. You can wash a doona cover and pillow cases but the sheets have to be washed separately. You can wash a couple of days of clothes but not a week.
