Rogue Trader for Gerson Health Supplements – In late August I placed an order for some Pancreatic 1200 supplements at a total cost of 298 AUD including priority delivery using FEDEX. On placement of the order I received an automatic email notification (receipt) that the order had been placed but there was follow up that the order had been shipped (no tracking no. notification). I patiently waited until October for my delivery and then got in touch with Midwest Health to enquire where was my order. There was no reply so I sent a second email. Again no reply. So after several attempts I managed to get the business owner on the phone. Asking him where was my order and why my emails hadn't been answered he made some vague excuse about the order being stuck at customs and that my emails had gone to spam! He made no attempt to apologise and just waffled on about having to try and track my 'so called' lost order. After getting nowhere on the phone I asked him to look into this and get back to me. After a week no email so I emailed him again twice to ask him what was happening with my order and asking him for tracking information for proof that the order had been shipped. Again no reply. So in frustration I rang American Express to ask if there was anything they could do. Fortunately they agreed to refund my purchase price so I was not out of pocket. Anyway that same day an email notification came from Midwest Health that my order had been dispatched including tracking information. A couple of days ago my order arrived, not that it was much use as I had made alternative arrangements and after the experience I had with the business I would not even trust the quality of their product. After all supplements in the US are not regulated and if this is how Midwest Health treats its customers how can anyone have faith in the quality of their products!
In summary don't order from Midwest Health. You give them your money and they don't fulfil your order. In my case the order was never shipped, well not until I asked American Express to intervene. Oh as an aside my order (when it was actually shipped) was looked at by customs no problems. So all a pack of lies on the part of MidWest Health.
