No Besser than it ought to be – Range hood works by switching itself on as you pull out the retractable 'hood'. is now beyond repair after only 4 years. The technician told me I had bought the entry level Miele range hood and that the metal cabinet was quite flimsy compared to other Miele models. Just how much do you have to spend for reliability and would you be better off buying 2 or 3 cheaper brands for the same money? Brand may impress others Poorly designed, over-priced and possibly unsafe. Routine replacement parts are expensive ie $175 for the filter, $50 for pair of globes.

Good – A cupboard must be built for it, and eventually everything becomes greasy. It doesn't seem to suck as well as it supposed to be. My one is able to suck two pieces of A4 printer paper from 10cm distance. Cheaper brands might do better job. It looks nice, neat. When working, it's very quiet. Quiet. Look nice. Doesn't suck as well as it should be. Cheaper brands might do greater job than it.

Good – I will let you know as time goes by but this unit is a direct replacement for that Electrolux one that has fallen apart due to poor plastic selection, with the addition of another spice shelf in my case.
