Miele G 975 PLUS Questions & Answers
VerifiedHi Miele I have had my g975 plus for 15years and love it. But today the drain/inlet flashing I have checked all the relevant spots as this happened before. this time it does not want to fill and seems to be stuck at that spot. I have tried to reset , not worked, could it be a panel problem. regards Leonie Australia

Hi Daniel not sure what has happened but my dishwasher is now working.
Hi, I have 975 sci plus, it is not locking so led won't go on and when I tweak a small projected pin inside then I get lucky. I would like to a new miele preferably same model and I know it is out of market so at least same dimension miele. Kindly contact balafico@gmail.com I am in Ronse, Belgium.
Good Morning Friends G, As you reside in Belgium, I would recommend that you reach out to them directly via their Website: external link . Kind Regards Daniel
Hi Daniel, Do you have any idea how to find equivalent model for g 975 sci. I am looking for correct measurements and I think it is 60 cm * 84.5 because dush washer is tucked in to the wooden frame difficult to measure it. One of them from Belgium office visited and he said I should look for 'sci plus' but models online or in stores doesn't directly carry this..he offered to repair at a cost of 300 eur so anything around 800 should an option to replace. Write to me if we can work out something - Bala

My start light is flashing but a cycle won't start. I have disconnected power etc
Drain/Inlet light flashes and won't drain or fill
My Miele g975 plus just keeps filling until it overflows. The inlet valve is operating correctly but just keeps opening and closing letting more water in
I don't know if this will help any but I have the same model. It would open the inlet valve, fill for about 5 sec before stopping and flashing the "Inlet/Drain" light. it will then wait before opening the inlet valve again and it would repeat. it turned out that the fill sensor was faulty. I smacked it with the back of a screw driver which will make it work for a few days. The fill sensor is located on the right side of the machine behind the panel. its located in the large plastic water control tank thing that runs up the side of the machine. its a small board on the lower left of that large tank just above where all the hoses come into the bottom of it.
What are the exact size dimensions of this model? We have had one since 2005 and are looking to upgrade to a newer Miele dishwasher with delay start.
Yea I have a g 975 plus and my programme selector has snapped of

My inlet drain light and salt light is on, what could be the problem?
The salt light comes on when your dishwasher needs more salt. Fill the dispenser and see if that helps

Drying fan squealing with high pitched noise at end of cycle, fan lubricated and turns properly, some calcium in
fan and drain tube, not a lot but cleaned out anyway, squeal still there only lesser noise, is there some other
cause, does the fan have a open and close shutter or something similar?
Rob.L
I have not had this problem with my G975 Plus, so I would not be in a position to advise. The fan does have an open/close shutter on it but that does not operate continuously to cause such a noise. The fan should be a relatively easy unit to replace and should be an available spare from Miele.
No I always had to get the Miele man in to fix it, it was always the tube blocked but they have to remove the inside door cover to so it!
as I suspect, there is something, a shutter partialy opening may be causing the noise, probably has some calcite in it, watch this space for future info as there seems to be no other.
regards Rob.L
When the drying phase is operating there is a small amount of water dribbling out of the grill at the top and when the cycle is finished and the door opened a small amount of water spills out of the grill. How can this be fixed?
You can access the tube by removing the front cover. Remove the tube and clean inside it. If you are half handy it is simple.
I never had this problem.
