Leaking after 3 years – Had the machine for 3 1/2 years and has developed a leak underneath. Not really happy with this for such an expensive machine. It is also quite noisy, but not as bad as cheaper washing machines we have had.  Show details

Great Machine, Built to last – Have had this machine 5yrs and have had no problems. We live on a farm and it washes my husbands dirty clothes getting them clean every time. I also like that for a short time after the machine has started you can still add clothes you may have forgotten. Great quality as expected from the Germans, We also have a Miele oven a German vacuum cleaner and a VW car all German made. You can't beat their quality, reliability or performance.  Show details

Excellent – I had a hover of which I could not part with. Finally it went to god. Then. My Miele. Can’t believe what was missing out on I have to check as it is so quiet I think it has finished. The short cycle of 20 minutes is fantastic and soooo clean cloths.  Show details

Disappointed – Machine has worked ok up until now although not quite the standard I expected. It wouldn't spin dry a woollen jumper by itself and left it literally sopping wet. We've had this washing machine since July 2017, ie just on a year, and it looks like the electronics need to be replaced. First of all it behaved as if it was on a delayed timer and… Read more

then it just stopped responding at all. To add insult to injury, because it's under a five year warranty (over cautious me I was told) we have to get a Miele qualified electrician to fix it and we're having to wait almost two weeks before they can get here. Not sure how much that's saying about Miele products hmmmm!!

Good product. Doesn't live upto the billing – This is a Good machine with a good short cycle for regular use. Can vary between 20 - 30 mins We find it a bit harsh on clothes though. wears out clothes a lot quicker Not entirely happy with the buy for the money spent. My old fisher paykel did a better job washing  Show details

Versatile, adapts to all your washing needs – This machine almost kills you with kindness as it has so many options for cherishing almost anything your wardrobe can offer. The only drawback is that the 'control panel' is so complicated, and quite different from those on other brands, that it takes a while to get the hang of it. In fact certain people in my house have not yet got the message… Read more

that you don't need to throw your greasy jeans in with your favourite cardy. Still, once you know how to use it, it even washes lambswool and silk with such a tender touch that they come out of the machine looking perfect.

I bought this little beauty at the Miele warehouse where they sell discontinued and un-boxed items. Considering

how good it is, it was a bargain at less than $1,000.00

Saves So Much Time And Money – I love the many different programs on my Miele. The hand wash cycle and delicates is so effective and accurate I actually have stopped hand washing all my really good lingerie and clothes myself. The machine is extremely water efficient and it’s so quiet during operation I often forget it’s on. All the wash cycles are very effective- clothes and… Read more

linen come out very clean, untangled and increased. Absolutely brilliant product. This is my third Miele.

Expensive, but worth it – I could've bought something for less than half the price, but I don't regret it (yet). This machine is pure quality. Lots of cycles to choose from, and it does a great job whilst being gentle on your clothes. It's also very quiet. The only negative is that most cycles take a long time. My go-to cycle is 1h18min, so I need to be organised and stay… Read more

on top of the washing. Ther timer helps, and is excellent. I set it before bed, and wake up to have the first load already done. I'm so impressed with Miele, I think I will consider other Miele products in the future.

Slow Slow Slow – How slow can a washing machine be? After having a fischer washer for years I was hoping for a better quality item. Bit to be honest I would rate it as only average at best. Every wash cycle takes forever and we are finding that we cant get through our weekly washing requirements without it running all time. Heaven knows what its doing to our electricity bill. I expected better from an expensive premium product. Wont be buying again.  Show details

Good machine – I love our new machine - the automatic load recognition system even adjusts water level and energy according to amount of laundry loaded. The only thing i am a bit sussed about is the short 20 minute wash. Yes, it is only for lightly soiled clothes, but is 20 minutes a sufficient amount of time to get the clothes clean?  Show details

Worse Washing Machine Ever!! – My purchase was based on brand reputation and 10 year guarantee. I've had my washing machine for 2 years now. The spinning noise isn't the same as the sound it made when I first purchased this washing machine. The vibration from the spin cycle is unbearable. Not only that, We had noticed the clothes are very damp. When I informed this problem to… Read more

the dealer, they sent the technician to check it. The technician said that he couldn’t find a problem with this washing machine and the sound of the spinning was absolutely normal. He re balanced the machine, and then recommended to change the springs, in which he did. Although he did this the sound was still the same, no improvement, It vibrated badly on spinning and was extremely noisy. After a few months i then informed the service department and complained once again. We had noticed when the spinning programme was done at 1400 rmp or 1200 rmp the clothes were very damp, whereas before they were dryer. With all my previous washing machines at 1000 rmp my clothes were much dryer. Also it continued vibrating badly on spinning and was extremely noisy. I was told they would send the technician again, as they did. The technician once again came and connected the laptop, and not only he didn’t admit hearing the sound, but i was to blame for this problem for putting too much washing powder in the machine and over loading it. This is not true!! (The washing powder is the same amount used as last year, and the past 15 years I’ve had a washing machine at my house, and the amount of clothes washed throughout the years) No heavy items were washed. Why didn’t he say these excuses the first time he came? After a long time of disagreeing with him he suggested to take it to their service department for further checking. We agreed on this to be done. The following day we received a telephone call from the service department suggesting for another technician to come and check it for the 3rd time before it was taken in for further service. We once again agreed for another technician to come for

his opinion too. After the 3rd time checking the washing machine we were told the same, NO PROBLEM WITH THE SPINNING LOUD NOISE, TOO MUCH WASHING POWDER, AND OVERLOAD. The same excuses over and over again. We started to think we had problems with our ears!! I have previously owned other brand washing machines and to be honest it’s the first time someone has told me about the washing powder, as the amount used is by the manual guide. DO MIELE HAVE WASHING MACHINES WHICH WORK WITHOUT WASHING POWDER?

UPDATE:

The technician's visited my house 5 times to try and solve the problem in which they didn't.

After spending months arguing and complaining with the dealer in Cyprus, Greece and Germany no fault was found. I also received a letter from the Head Office in Germany saying Therefore we hope you will understand that we as well as Miele Greece and Miele Cyprus are not able to offer further assistance and Unfortunately no further technical remedy is possible, and it operates in the way of its design’ I Also wrote back and suggested to go to the showroom to hear the sound of the same model and compare the sound to mine but, they wouldn't allow it. I have sent so many emails to them and I've never received a reply. PLEASE NOTE THIS HAS A 10 YEAR GUARANTEE.

Excellent very silent – This has been an excellent unit! very silent, works excellent and clothes come out clean and fresh as expected. When it goes at full revvs, it is still very silent and does not move and bang around. Love the steam option where it makes shirts come out without much wrinkles and make it easy to iron them.  Show details

Quiet, Clean, Well drain wash – Our old machine broke down, we decided to buy another brand just to test another product, we are very pleased with the new choice, as it's much quiet machine compare to our previous machine. It washes clothes very clean, drain well. It doesn't take long for the clothes to dry after wash. It is simple & easy to use. After use you can open the door fully to keep machine dry & fresh.  Show details

Trying a Miele – Happy with wash and plenty of cycles and options, not too noisy, items come out with limited creasing. Has a great 20 minute wash which will be my most used but does not have any audio signal to let you know when washing cycle finished. Bought this brand as my husband being a plumber has met quite a few customers who own a Miele and only had positive comments to make.  Show details
