Milwaukee 2410-20 / 2410-22 M12

Solid performer – In a world of 18V impact drivers, I felt I needed something a bit more subtle for around the house. It's a brick house, so I needed to be able to get through that, but I rarely use it all day. I needed something that could sit around for a week or so but be ready at a moment notice, so that meant LiIon. I wanted decent quality (call me a tool snob, if you like) and a 'system' tool, so Milwaukee seemed like a good bet. The guy at the shop told me Milwaukee were planning about a million other tools for the M12 system.
So far I'm really happy with it. I works well and is really strong. With a good bit it gets through my brick walls with ease, including one hole through both courses to let an antenna lead in. It seems to hold a good charge between use. It is quiet and feels really solid (in a good way) without being too heavy. I have also bought the 'Hackzall', which is a little recipro-saw which has been incredibly useful. Small, good battery life with built in charge indicator, powerful even for drilling brick. Batteries can be a bit fiddly to set and remove.
