An outdoor heater that can’t survive outdoors beyond 12 months is a design failure, not “normal wear and tear.” If a product is marketed for outdoor use, surface rust after two years is unacceptable unless the manufacturer clearly states it’s decorative-only or requires full weather protection. The facts are: Rust after 24 months = poor materials or inadequate coating. No goodwill solution = weak brand accountability. Selling spare parts with the same flaw = money thrown away.
