Terrible – This review is on packaging, not the formula . Ordered this product direct from the Mim's Gentle Milk Co website. could do is package it properly with a bit of bubble wrap (or eco friendly alternative). I've purchased other brands formulas for almost half the price and they at least have sent their items well protected. Have contacted customer service, however they have not bothered to reply.
Purchased another tin from pharmacyonline.com.au and that tin arrived well packaged and in usable condition. Unfortunately though, the tin didn't contain a scoop! Vey annoying as a busy mum trying to measure out by other means.
Disappointing that I have purchased two tins and haven't actually been able to use the product. Won't be wasting my time and money trying to purchase it again. Shame because was looking forward to trying it on my toddler considering all the good reviews it's had.
So easy to keep fresh! – Tried this with my daughter just after she turned one. I absolutely love the packaging. I wish all formula came with this lid. It keeps it fresh and I will never forget to put the lid back on at 3am ever again! It took a while for my daughter to get used to the taste, as it was quite different from her other formula, but after I offered it a few times, she was happy to change over. Highly recommend! At 800g, it is smaller than some other toddler formulas on the market and for a higher price point, but the quality is evident in both the packaging and content.
The tin features a satisfying soft close lid and genius holder for the scoop that means you aren't risking contaminating the formula inside each serve. We found that each scoop was easily accessible and dissolved perfectly in water of all temperatures, making it ideal all year round.
We absolutely loved that this formula is packed full of 16 essential vitamins and nutrients as well as being certified organic. Being Australian made was a deciding factor in continuing to use this organic goat milk toddler drink.

The packaging is clean and super convenient with everything you need attached to the lid. The scoop is cleverly placed under the lid, where you can scoop and level before pouring into cup of choice. It won’t mix well if you don’t use warm water. We often used a bit of boiled water and cooled down boiled water and it dissolved within the first stir. The dosage is one scoop per 50ml with a recommendation of 200ml per serve. Since my daughter is mixed fed, she drinks 100ml with 2 scoops at a time.

milk makes our son painfully gassy and constipated but the transition to goats A2 wasn’t as bad as I’d thought. It’s harder to dissolve than other formulas and is much thicker. The powder is more granulated and clumpy, whereas others have been fine and loose. The plus side of it being thicker is that it keeps him fuller for his day nap and when he goes down during the night he is settled through till morning, so if your child wakes up wanting more milk during the night then this formula is great for for that as the may stop waking for more.
The packaging is awesome. The scoop is attached to the lid and it’s easy to open and close plus the bonus of not having to worry about cutting yourself around the edge.
It has made his bowel movements firmer and less regular than the other A2 formula so even though it’s great for naps it’s just not worth it. We did look into getting another can when we considered staying on the Mims A2 goats but at an eye water $60 and nowhere convenient to buy it we have just gone back to our A2 Premium.

Occasionally when I make the milk I do smell it very milky, but I know is most likely is because is goats milk. It doesn't bother my baby to drink it.
For the tin design, I do like it. But I would prefer the plastic lid set a bit lower or make the lever on the plastic lid. As I find is a bit awkward to try and level the scoop at the tin.
Overall great formula, but for the full price I'm not sure if much parents would be able to afford this formula. Also I was a bit disappointed when I find out that the formula is not from Australia (is made in Australia from imported ingredients) so if I want to spend that much money on formula I would actually prefer if is made in Australia, with Australia goats milk.
Gentle on sensitive tummies - But very expensive – This is a really lovely formula and definitely has a more 'superior' feel to it. However, I am giving it a 4 star because - For a full priced tin, $59.95 is expensive and not all families would be comfortable paying that.
Great packaging but the product smells bad – I received this formula today for my two year old. I rate it 2/5 stars. handed while holding a baby or toddler while preparing their bottle. It has one of the best features I have seen, the scoop is secured to the lid so you are fumbling blindly trying to find the scoop in the bottom of the tin which is quite frustrating when your sleep deprived and your child is crying cause their require a feed.
The labeling is very clear and full on information you require.
My toddler is not a fan of formula and does prefer full cream milk but he quite enjoyed this formula with no hesitation. It has taken up a little while since received this formula to finish it as he only has one cup a day. He has not suffered from any side effects from this formula at all, he is continued to be regular and it has not caused any reflux which previous formulas have.
Mixing the powder with water was a breeze, there was no clumping or separations while making and drinking the formula.
Highly recommend this formula!

see it as formula, but rather a different sort of drink, they were fine with it. They liked the taste and saw it as something special when they viewed the attractive container it came in! We all want to wean them off the formula in bottles as they’re both going to school next year, and it seems so babyish; but they are certainly stubborn! I’m hoping that we will be able to use the goat’s milk more frequently, in a cup, and begin to drop the formula in a bottle. In summary I can say that the formula doesn’t have to necessarily be given in a bottle; its nutritious value is in the content, not the container that’s used for it.
My bub is very happy with this milk – My baby was drinking munchkin grass fed formula and was pretty happy with it but decided to try this mim's gentle milk organic goat milk but wasn't sure if my baby would transition well with it. The only small issue for me was pulling the vacuum seal no hole to put one finger to pull through , it was hard pulling it open and i cut my self, but other than that bub’s tummy is happy, so im very happy with Mim’s gentle goats milk. Great Australian product – My 19month old seemed to enjoy the flavour & was not fazed by the switch from cows milk to this product. I feel like she is fuller for longer & has no side effects. product is just fantastic it is almost who cares) as bottles are round and you have to be careful when tipping into the bottle, bit awkward. Other than that i love that there is also a scrape lip to level the scoop. I would highly recommend this to any parent for their little one, whether allergy or no allergy. Ingredients are fantastic and better than most that is for sure. The tub is a lovely colour to, i went oooh something different. It clips down easy as well. All the information you need is easy to read, which i found great. I also love it is made in the most beautiful state of australia, tasmania. Keeping jobs there is so important. My boy is 13 months old. He is not fussy with food but lately he is not drinking as much milk. But with Mim's Gentle Milk Organic Goats Milk step 3. My toddler loved it. Its easy to prepare and the powder is easily dissolved. Up to this moment, I still use lukewarm boiled water to prepare his milk because he will not drink it if its cold. I think the milk is easily digested and gentle in the tummy because my son was able to move his bowels everyday. I have read on the tin that the milk has prebiotics so it could be the reason. Since, we started with this formula he was drinking more milk than before even after eating solid food. We finished the whole tin and my son didn't have any allergic reaction or side effects from it. I might change his toddler milk soon because he did love this milk but I am still contemplating due to the cost of this formula.

runny stools. No side effects like vomiting that we have had with other formulas we have tried. The formula has a good sized scoop and it is very easy to prepare. It doesn't clump together and is a very smooth texture. The tin itself is very cute and I love the flip lid on it!

opening the tin was that the scoop was fixed inside the attached plastic lid, and could be kept here, which is a welcome change to the formula that we have become used to. This is especially the case when the tin is first opened, and I am not forced to go fishing around in the formula powder to try to find the scoop - potentially introducing contaminants.
When I first tried to mix the formula, I thought I was going to have some issues with it, as it would not mix with the water very well. But what I soon discovered, was that the water needs to be warm and the formula will dissolve a lot easier. I have been filling the bottle with about 180ml of filtered cold water from the fridge, adding 4 scoops of this formula, then swirling. The formula remains very clumpy at this stage, but when I top up with another 100ml boiled water and shake the bottle, all the clumps dissolve. The formula we previously used would always have some residual clumps stuck to the bottom of the bottle at the end of a feed, however this one never has that, which is quite impressive.
Another handy feature of the scoop is that there is an opening at the base of the scoop, so formula powder can't gather here and end up falling off and onto the countertop when I empty the scooped formula into the bottle.
One thing that I could point out as possibly the only detractor, is that the tin is only 800g - with other brands offering 900g tins. It is quite a substantial difference, and the reason I give this product 4 stars rather than 5.
But putting this aside - the clever tin design with a scoop holder in the lid, in combination with having my mind at ease that the formula wont clump and there won’t be any messes on my countertop due to the clever scoop deign, makes this a great product in my eyes.

expectations as my daughter hasn’t taken to any of the previous toddler drinks she has tried. Upon opening the tin I was excited to see I didn’t have to find the scoop somewhere within the formula tin as it has its own attachment to a clip to the inside of the lid. I thought this was fantastic as I dislike searching through the milk drink powder for the scoop when you first open a new tin. The tin was very security conscious with a safety tab to first remove on the plastic lid and the silver film covering the milk drink powder was sealed well requiring a little effort to remove. I made up my daughters first drink on Saturday and she seemed to love it quickly drinking the entire bottle. When mixing the bottle instructions indicate shake briskly so it’s important to take note of this. As when making up bottles I have noticed the milk powder does tend to clump around the bottle if I don’t shake it very briskly. However this may be due to the fact my daughter likes the water at room temperature rather than warm. We are going onto day six and she has had no side effects or negative reactions from drinking this. In my food shop this week I will be definitely be adding a tin or 2 of Mims Gentle Milk Organic Goat Milk step 3 toddler drink.
Great drink for toddlers! – My toddler was already drinking organic toddler milk formula so it was easy for him to transition. I’m always looking for the benefits in products I give my babies and this ticked all the boxes. I love it includes A2. Baby had no issues or side effects. Just right – The formula dissolved very easily in warm water and surprisingly didn't have a 'funky smell' that I often notice with other formulas. loved the lid- not fiddly and very easy. My daughter took to the formula very quickly and she even asked for seconds which never happens!
