DISGUSTING P.O.S – Worst car i have ever owned. I have owned this car since new and at about 1,500kms it started to nudge when you come to a stop almost like someone has given you a slight rear end knock. You can also hear it in the breaks like.its really trying to creep forward. Also on acceleration sometimes.it feels like its confused to start driving almost like… Read more

its in gear then mot then back in. I have taken it to 2 separate MM dealers and they say they can find the problem or feel it. First dealer i took it to the tech mentioned it sounds like the torque converter is locking up and thats why it could be nudging when you come to a stop. I mentioned this to the manager and he got really defensive and spoke down on me. Lucky he didnt talk to me like that face to face because i woukd be in the chocolate factory right now. 3rd time.i wanter to take.it in they said they wanted to charge me because i was wasting their time

Mate, it's my car. i know what it's doing, and it's not normal! Disgusting service crap car waste of money. I will never buy a mitsubishi again and i will never suggest it to anyone. I feel like they know there is a problem but wont own up to it. Ps only 11,000kms on the clock now.

Yeah not the best but not the worst – Not the best for top of range. Front and rear.bumper don't match car. Maybe I'm picky but. Drives nice and good on fuel. Needs bit more power. Auto locking when driving is a pain in the butt. No option to turn it off through system unless U go to the dealer. Show details

Overpriced vehicle with extremely poor customer service – After 4 attempts on trying to fix the screen issue on my brand new pajero sport gsr, they still couldn't get it right. I've purchased 2 Mitsubishi's - never again. Show details

Good for on and off road – Bought a brand new car 2 years ago and love every bit of it. It came with 10 yrs warranty too. Never missed a beat. Show details

Don’t go near it – Currently driving one from Avis, brand new with 35kms. The boot constantly plays up - won’t open or close. I’ve had to crawl in through the back seat to retrieve my groceries. Now the car won’t lock (except the boot which won’t open) so I can’t leave any valuables in the car. So glad it’s not my car - never really appreciated the build quality of my Mazda or Toyota until now. Show details

GREAT FAMILY VEHICLE AND GREAT OFF ROAD – Comfortable with no squeaks or rattles. Great on the high way and just as good driving up a breach etc. No negatives to report. Kids love having their own air con and usb ports. Gearbox picks the right gears at the right time. Would recommend. Show details

Malfunctioning electric tailgate – Sept 2022: I purchased this car new in April 2022. From day one, the electric tailgate intermittently malfunctioned. It would either not open, not close & it would just continually beep at me. I had to then manually open & close it. I took it back to the dealership to “diagnose” the problem. They told me it needed a whole new strut replacing &… Read more

this part was going to take 4 weeks from Japan. In the meantime waiting for the part, the boot just completely seized & I couldn’t open/close it at all. Even jumping into the boot to release it manually wouldn’t work. So I was without the use of my boot for 2 weeks. This has been a complete nightmare with kids school bags, sports equipment, work etc. The car was useless to me for what I needed the car for. The part arrived & had it replaced. When I picked the car up, I was told there was good news & bad news. Good news the boot was back working again (for now) but the bad news is they were unsure how long it will work for as there were still “errors” in the diagnostic checks. It’s been 2 weeks again since the replacement & the tailgate has gone back to intermittently malfunctioning. The dealership now needs my car again for another day to try & determine what the fault is & they’ve told me they can’t guarantee they’ll be able to work it out & we might have to wait until if & when Mitsubishi issue a recall. I’m not a happy customer at all.

**update 21/11/22** I was recently contacted by Mitsubishi & advised of good news that the issue with the malfunctioning tailgate has been identified as a software issue & to bring the car in to get this rebooted. After doing this, the car lasted 11 days before going back to its malfunctioning self again. I opened up another complaint with Mitsubishi Australia again & have sought advice from Fair Trading as this is a major fault that has been unable to be fixed within a reasonable timeframe nor do Mitsubishi even know what the actual problem is. Also, I’ve been advised by mechanics that I’ve spoken to for their professional opinions of what the problem could be; that when the boot jams & is unable to be opened, this essentially makes the car unroadworthy due to safety reasons in the event of an accident. This time because of the constant inconvenience, I demanded they give me a replacement car at their expense so they can have my car for as long as it takes to get to the bottom of this. They’ve had my car now for 11 days & still have heard nothing about any updates or any progress made with fixing the problem. I just want a refund on this car now & run a mile in the other direction. This has been ongoing since April this year.

Poor build quality – I purchased this car new in May 2022. From day one, the electric tailgate intermittently malfunctioned. It would either not open, or would open and not close. By turning the ignition on and off, it would eventually work. I am a veterinarian and this is my work vehicle. This fault made the car unusable. After a few weeks, one day it went into… Read more

"limp" mode with a blocked DPF. The dealer said a loose air hose caused this. It is presently at the dealer, waiting for a part for the tailgate. Apparently, the ETA of this part is late September. I am trying to get a refund on this car.

Great car at a great price! – Commute daily for work in construction. Handles the road/off-road great. Comfortable and reliable and plenty of space in the boot for tools etc. Only thing I can complain about is the high beams could be a bit brighter. Show details
