I have a Triton GLX+ MY22. When connecting my phone via usb the head unit intermittently switches off, sometimes it does not recover fully. We are often distracted by this condition. It has been to a dealership, they did a software update, but it happened on the way back home and every since still. Anyone else having this sort of issue?
There was a period where the tritons came with abslutely abysmal head units due to the chip shortage. My 22 GLS came withe a head unit from Directed and it was so bad I ripped it out in less than a week of owning the vehicle. Mitsubishi did not give a shit. Replaced it with a Kenwood which I installed myself (first time) and cost me about a grand. Best thing ever. I would recommend an aftermarket unit as the ones mitsubishi supply are useless.
How do you make the reversing camera stay on all the time?

Mitsubishi Triton GLX 4x4 2018 2.4l Diesel 6 speed auto Transmission service light keeps appearing currently sitting at dealership talking about replacing whole transmission has any one else had similar issues? Only done around 70,000. Klms. Fortunately still under warranty.
I have taken my 2021 triton to the dealer 3times now to address the freezing head unit on the 2nd occasions I showed them a video of the problem and they agreed it needed to be replaced on presenting for the 3rd round they said the screen was dirty and or it could be because I have an oppo phone paired via Bluetooth and should not use my phone through the unit for a couple of weeks to see how it goes.Has anybody else had this crap response
there is an inherent issue with these stereos my 2020 has the same problem from pickup i took about 30 videos and got it replaced the new replacement has just shit itself completely and after i made calls and sussed out what was going on i found out they only replace them with refurbished stereos from nsw, so someone else's problems. i am in the process of a customer complaint with MMA as i bought a new GLS with a premium sound system and it has never been premium i could not even get adequate volume at 45 volume my ears should bleed cheers
Hi Steven How have you gone with the complaint? We're in the same position. It's dangerous with such an important part of the vehicle failing. No phone connectivity when it fails entirely and most people owning these utes will have bought it for the purpose of running a business which means answering customer calls... So many more things to say. They just should not have been able to keep putting these out for so long faulty.

Does aftermarket head unit void warranty on mr triton?
Probably not, but it's simple, just contact any dealer, get it in writing. They will probably blame any future problems with the electronics on the installation, so get a reputable installer to do the job. The electronics on these vehicles are complicated and very integrated.... eg the 360 degree view, which integrates all four cameras into an overhead view. I would be very cautious!
It is on them to prove that it causes a problem. I replaced my head unit because the one that came with it was literally not fit for purpose. They have tried to blame problems on my bullbar but not the head unit haha!
Indicator lights flashing very fast although no bulbs are compromised. Any hints or is it a workshop job?
