We bought a $20,000 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3 years ago and have spent THOUSANDS on it over this period getting things fixed. Then just recently the engine decided to seize up...unable to be used again. Was picked up by the wreckers for very minimal $. What a waste of our hard earned cash. I'm so upset right now as I now have to take out a loan to purchase another car.

Scored a good car!! – Had a great experience with the team at MLS, went and had a look at a car and they were very informative and helpful. Bought the car; they recommended places that I could go to get spare parts etc and also made me feel comfortable contacting them a few weeks later to ask questions/advice.

Absolutely amazing – Recently purchased a vehicle off MLS Automotive and from the moment I looked at the vehicle to the end Marko was super helpful and made everything work as easy as possible, vehicle has been great and I’ll definitely be going back to him with family and friends when they are in the market for an upgrade

NOT RECOMMENDED! – When I called to discuss an issue that I discovered after purchasing a vehicle, I was met with defensiveness, attitude, blame throwing and a total unwillingness to care. Very disappointing! Lost a repeat customer here!

Disgusting – My partner bought a car from them and has spent thousands repairing it. Our mechanic had a look at it after its first breakdown and said that the car shouldn't have been sold in the condition it was in, but they had every workaround to not help us out. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Dealer winds back Odometers – I wouldn’t recommend MLS if they were the last car dealership on Earth. They have a proven record of selling vehicles that have had their odometers wound back, they sell cars that are incredibly unsafe and provide buyers with fake log books and fake road worthy certificates that have been doctored up by their equally-dodgy mates (who most of these… Read more

5-star reviews are written by). Absolutely no integrity or care that they are putting people’s lives at risk by selling them cars that should not be on the road. Only care about getting money from honest, hard working people. Absolute joke of a company.

Not recommended. Watch out – These guys have no integrity. Not recommended. They said they would fix some rust in the back of the van before purchase and did the bare minimum that the eye could see. When i finally took the draws out of the back there was still rust. The LPG never worked from day 1 and now been quoted $2k to fix. The engine light came on just after 1 month… Read more

with o2 sensors needing to be replaced. The power steering needs work. They claimed they serviced it but after a mechanic checked it out he said it was an oil change and thats about it.

When I emailed them to ask what was going on and how could all of this happen they didn't want anything to do with it. Also the 2 year warranty they 'give' you is also another company that refuse to fix anything and claim it's not covered.

Was told by [Name Removed] & [Name Removed] that i have to pay for a new MOTOR at my own expense and only $1000 from warranty!!! Quoted $9000 on a motor & $2000 for labour. Very Disappointed with My Vehicle – I bought a 2011 Toyota Troopcarrier from MLS, and I would like to share my experience. Due to Covid restrictions at the time, I wasn't able to inspect the vehicle in person before purchasing it. The advertisement described the vehicle as "Ex-Military, Just Serviced" and "Comes with 6 months rego." Over the phone, I was reassured that it was an… Read more

ex-military vehicle, not a mines vehicle, and that there were no defects.

However, after receiving the vehicle, I noticed several issues that affected its roadworthiness. Some of the problems I encountered included a transfer case without oil that caught fire after 100 km, a failing clutch within 1000 km, non-functioning rear brake lights and bull-bar lights, a battery that died after two days, a non-working fuel gauge, and a radio that drains the battery.

Upon further investigation, I found evidence suggesting the vehicle had been used in a mining operation rather than being ex-military. When I contacted MLS to discuss the matter and seek assistance with the auto-electrician costs, they declined, stating that I had bought the vehicle "as-is."

While I understand that pre-owned vehicles can have minor defects, the mechanical and electrical issues I've experienced with this Troopcarrier have been both time-consuming and costly to address. I would have appreciated a more accurate representation of the vehicle's condition and history before making the purchase.

Attached are photos of the wiring harness and the vehicle being towed after the transfer case fire, to provide further context for my experience.
