The skip was delivered and picked up on time. The delivery driver was very helpful and efficient. I have used this service before and will use it again. The skips are a great size and can be squeezed into a parking bay or driveway without the hassle of typical skips that take up so much space and disrupt the whole street. Being able to lock it also prevents it from being filled with other people’s junk while you have a break. A great option.
Great service, start to finish. Will was great, kept me updated for drop off & pick up. The actual skip bin was very neat & clean, being able to lock it was very useful. Would highly recommend.
Great service, great communication. Nick was friendly, on time, actually called first to confirm and offered to come early! And on collection day he messaged to check if it was ready or if we needed more time! Amazing service! Love the lockable bin feature too. Nice not to have to worry about other people dumping stuff in it when we’re not there!

Absolutely perfect for what I needed. Communication was excellent from time of booking through drop off and pick up. They were unable to meet my initial drop off time however they were good a resolving a new time and service was excellent. Absolutely fast, efficient and best service you can get. I requested a quote at 9am and the team (Nathan / Chris) rocked up at my door by midday on the same day. Reasonable pricing - $365 for 1 queen mattress, wooden bed frames, 1 heavy TV and a few minor items. Highly recommend to anyone who’s in the process of moving. Show reply

you may well be contacted for significant additional payments, the initial upfront cost is quite reasonable but that can easily blowout depending on what you are putting in the skip etc.
Follow-up · Estimating weight is not always easy and is dependant on what materials you are removing. You are essentially free to fill the provided container but the final cost is determined by actual weight that is measured after the container is taken away. You pay for the convenience. Not recommended. Expensive, only suitable for light rubbish. Avoid for anything heavy – Lockable skips and free pick up / delivery (even though you’re able to tow the skips yourself) are good perks. Weight limit is a serious issue though. I originally booked a "heavy" skip via the Bunnings website for $460. cancel the order and book direct with Mobile Skips for $530 instead - already pretty pricey.
Then came the overweight issue (my load apparently came in at 800kg over the limit), which ended up costing me another $300 - the "cheapest" solution according to the manager. It was also nearly a week after pick up before I was advised of the additional cost - this was 3-4 days after I'd been sent messages saying my waste had been "disposed of responsibly" (messages which led me to believe everything had been dealt with and resolved).
All up nearly $850 to dispose of 1800kg of timber, rubble and soil!
When booking, the only available options are 500kg (medium) and 1000kg (heavy), but you’re given a 4 cubic metre skip no matter what option you pick. A 4 cubic metre skip holds a lot more than 1000kg (as I've now learned the hard way), so it’s incredibly easy to exceed your weight capacity without knowing it. 500kg and 1000kg really ought to be labelled "light" and "medium", not medium and heavy.
You can find estimates of what you can put in a 1000kg skip on the Mobile Skips website, but this info isn't at all obvious when booking via Bunnings (if Mobile Skips are going to partner with organisations, they need to ensure their messaging is consistent). I also had conversations with two people from Mobile Skips during booking and drop off, and neither brought this issue up as something to be cautious of.
I'd be extremely cautious about ever using Mobile Skips again. Cost me nearly 3 times what it would've with an open skip.

highlighting the cost comparison and effort it takes if you were to do multiple trips yourself to the tip ( a costly and stressful time consuming mistake we made previously). The website and booking is so simple, informative and communication is top tier and so quick. Chris F is an absolute legend and a blessing for helping us out from end to end, I couldn’t speak more highly of the whole deal. So efficient, friendly, and all the stress was removed. Having a 5 month old Bub and a husband that works long hours - the skip hire was a no brainer. Better still is that you dont have to have a driveway or have the skip parked on your lawn (which we had neither available, as pictured) - they come on a registered trailer and can be parked on the street! Can’t wait to use them again and have already been telling everyone in ear shot to keep Mobile Skips in mind and back pocket for next move and to consider starting the new year off with a cleanse / clear up. Arrived on time and we were kept updated with notifications.( amazing when your under stress and everything falling apart. You don’t have time to call people) . I ordered a skip on Monday morning, it arrived Monday afternoon and I completed my cleanup by dinnertime on Monday and and advised Will that I was finished. He came and removed the skip Tuesday afternoon. Will was friendly and helpful and a mobile skip parked on my front lawn next to the work made the cleanup easy. Careful not to fill the skip, or else you may get an extra sizable charge for going over weight. It's in the small print they say. Also... I wish they would take me off their mailing list. I emailed them requesting this but they won't do it, so now I have more junk mail in perpetuity.
Follow-up · The increase was from $560 to $736 for being 280kg over weight. So if you fill the bin like I did you may get charged extra. I have used fixed price bins ever since.
This franchise owner was an absolute fraud. I booked a small skip online, it wouldn’t accept payment, so the operator called me. She took my credit card details supposedly on a secure line and I didn’t know they would store them on their system. credit card. An hour later I get a text from this franchise owner saying oh your bun was very full I had to charge you more. I never authorised it, there was no line on the bin saying where to fill to and in fact I was never told by the operator I could only fill it a certain amount. I text the franchise owner and he was so rude and the operator said he should have asked before charging my card. So many issues, they jelly my card on file without my authority, they never told me I could only fill a certain amount (very deceptive advertising as it was less expensive than other skips but they clearly do this knowing they will then charge you more!) and the owner was so rude. I asked them to refund my card as I never authorized this and got no reply. Do not use this company they are terrible.
High charges for small bins – Charge for bin hire is extremely excessive compared to other companies so I’d strongly recommend going elsewhere. Such an easy and hassle free experience, delivery was clearly communicated, made on time and positioning where I wanted and as it’s on wheels there was no damage to the driveway.
