They're a proper [Content Removed] – Pay attention to the "terms and conditions" of their prices. What the "office" advises is the process is not what they deliver. And most definitely make sure you check that they have completed the job as instructed.

Whilst it carries cost to sort and decide what is recyclable, in my experience watching how the loading of goods which were in reasonable shape, there is no care for glass or timber, so I don't believe they recycle anything in regard to furniture. It is beyond measure of care by the pickup driver, and the job is to remove, not to pack and protect.

This said, I was told the pricing included recycling. Whatever that $ figure represents is unclear as it is not on the invoice nor holds any relativity to how the goods are received at the other end. So don't believe all the nonsense you are told. You can also flat refuse to have your load removed if you think the price is not within relevant value. Don't argue with the driver, just call head office and explain the cost the driver has quoted and let them decide how to deal with the matter. You are well within your rights to tell them to leave your property as they have changed the removal quotation cost.

However, their pricing is very steep. You will pay in excess of $100aud per sq metre and there is GST slapped on top of the load. Easily pay $500aud for just a few items of furniture.

DO NOT ever rely on an over the phone quote, even sending photo's of the goods you expect to be quoted upon.

Would I use this group again? No. Why? Because they over quoted and as I was requiring the load to be taken promptly, they abused the fairness of customer care in process. I choose to explain that it is fair and reasonable to charge a higher price for immediate removal, but not to abuse the customer in a financial way which is basically robbery.

Whilst this group is courteous and tidy and look after your walls when moving stuff, it may be cheaper to just call your local council and book a couple of pickups way ahead of moving instead. And any other goods in decent condition can be moved on to Saint Vincent De Paul (Vinnies) as they will assess the quality on pickup. They won't take furniture they cannot sell.

The lesson in this is to be organised and avoid at all cost using any service which is immediate quote removal because you won't get any reasonable outcome.

Website full of lies – Their website states from $69 for a fridge removal. I have a smaller than average fridge and was just charged $140+ GST. At no point on the phone 'quote' did they say that it wouldn't be $69 - you cant advertise a service with a price that no one pays - a fridge is a fridge. What square meter would a fridge have to be for the advertised price?
