Hurstville salon - all the hairdressers really lovely, friendly, professional and always do an excellent job. My whole family has hair cut with them.
Total rip off. Make sure you agree a price beforehand as I had a trim and they charged me $160. While I went to the bathroom the hairdresser asked my daughter where we lived and what I did for work. I can only assume she was figuring out how much she could rip me off. It was the older woman in the salon in Broadway, Sydney. Not impressed.
Follow-up · No receipt. The atmosphere was frosty and the hairdresser was quite rude. She hardly spoke, when she did she treated me with contempt and kept telling my daughter over and over how dry her hair was. The trim was ok, but nothing amazing and definitely not worth the money

BAD- Crooked / Uneven - If I asked my 2 year old granddaughter she would do a better job - Moe & Co Carnes Hill tried twice / twice wrong - never again

thought this shop staff will behave so badly and telling her to cut it herself (normally its OK). I think the business must be flourishing. Poor little girl of mine looks like a boy now and both my sons look funny. I can get the hair fixed but their attitude was appalling.. no calling again ever!
Gender discrimination – Discrimination at its finest! Most caring hairdressers – I have had my hair coloured at Moe & Co for a few years now. They are so accommodating and professional. The colours and cut have always been 100%. The store is always clean, the staff is always appropriately dressed, friendly and always communicate with the utmost professional customer service. Well done ladies keep up your great work. and true colours of the staff started to show, firstly, we made an appointment at 2 pm and we’re seen 50 minutes later, we understand that it is Christmas season and it does get busy, we’ve had a business so we know exactly what prioritising means during peak hour. Even so we wanted Selina to do the colour, because after the first visit we trusted her, however she wouldn’t leave her client for a couple mins just to put colour in the hair. The constant excuses that I can’t leave my client and because they were late we just got behind and not everyone here is qualified to do my job, just be mindful the client she was attending prior only required a blow dry and straightening which I’m sure isn’t rocket science nor hard to do and could have easily been left for another hair dresser to do rather than making us wait so long, we were happy to wait 30 mins but nearly an hour was unbelievable considering an appointment was made which they couldn’t understand. Additionally, they don’t even check the appointment book so of course they are going to continuously run behind. It’s not my problem if your staff are not qualified enough to do certain ‘tasks’ which is honestly the first time I’ve heard of such a thing, it’s like being an accountant and not knowing how to make your tax. Speaking of which, Selina said when you go to a medical centre you have to wait this long, firstly, that’s for health reasons anyone would wait, secondly, that has no relevance nor would anyone wait that long if an appointment has been made, if that were the case, no one would even make appointments. They even encourage their clients not to make appointments, I heard it today myself. Anyways, Selina kept saying we asked you that someone else can do your colour as I can’t leave my client, even after we explained everything as above, she still failed to understand and was constantly arguing. During the colour it was extremely rushed, it came out way too black with the excuse being as usual our fault, with using box dye which is why it came out that way, yet the first time we did it was even more raw hair and the colour was definitely reddish and proper, so that made absolutely no sense and since the first time we hadn’t touched box dye anyway. With the washing after the colour, the blonde hair girl completely sucked, it’s concerning that the staff doesn’t even know how to wash someone’s hair, when we said this to Selina she argued yet again that the colours washed out even though the hair felt super dirty, as soon as I came home I had to re wash which was yet again more wasting my time because these people can’t do their job right. In accordance to payment, we were quoted $75 yet every-time the price continues to increase, one minute they say $85 then $95 when clearly we were quoted an amount completely different which is complete misleading. On top of that the surcharge (which was complained in the past) is not disclosed until after the payment is made, which I’m assuming other clients wouldn’t even realise. Anyways, regarding todays visit, I went back solely because I thought this time they would do a better job however the experience was so appalling that I am completely disheartened with going to any hair dresser again yet alone this place, I would never ever recommend this place to anyone! This time, Tina (owner) approached us saying we’re never happy with their services, which we were kindly explaining again as usual the most useless excuses were made and she didn’t even want to understand us let alone try, regardless we thought maybe since they know the last experience was bad this time it should be fine, however this was not the case. We clearly said full colour like the last 2 times and as usual Selina told Olivia only the half colour (the scalp) by the time we realised we already wasted so much time and had to wait more just for Olivia to come and do the rest of the hair. Anyways, we specifically asked the colour to be more mixed with red unlike last time, and guess what it came out worse than last time and even more black! Finally, it was payment time we couldn’t wait to just get out of there, we’re about to go on holiday, our hair doesn’t even look good even after everything we said, so we tried to explain this to Olivia, the amount of arguing she did was unbelievable, I actually feel sick to my stomach knowing people like this exist, she kept saying no it’s $95 and the way she was saying it, and we tried to explain and said go ask Selina, Selina started arguing loudly with her. We said, can you go talk to Tina, when she came we tried explaining yet again that yes, if the colour was good were more than happy to pay the price, instead Tina says ‘the colour looks fine, it’s your box dye, just don’t come to our salon, there’s so many salons out there, we don’t get to eat lunch’ .. and so much unnecessary arguing that I was even able to comprehend, she’s been doing that profession all her life yet she can’t even professionally deal with clients, let alone do her job properly, I feel sorry for her clients. On top of that Olivia was making things worse, when we asked for receipt she said ‘you should’ve told me before because now I can’t print it again, why do you need a receipt it’s not like you’re coming back here again’. I swear she was arguing so bad with Tina that everyone in the salon started looking yet they had no shame, we still didn’t raise our voice and were calm. It’s just disgusting how they treat their clients with such disrespect, as owners of a business ourselves I assure you we’ve definitely dealt with people where there was no mistake on our end but we would still apologise and try to fix the problem, as proper professionals we would not argue like there’s no tomorrow especially if it’s the businesses fault. This place is unprofessional to the point where the hair dressers cannot even dress well, they don’t even have a dress code, they are all unqualified and the worst people you can ever come across your entire life. If you want your hair ruined definitely go to this place, if you want your mood spoiled and treated pathetically, then go for this place, the people working there, belong there. Conclusively, I don’t want to hear a reply from these people again, firstly as usual their egoistic personality will not accept their wrong doing, I don’t need to undergo anymore harassment and abuse, if you do reply I will not hesitate to take things further, considering my daughter is undertaking a law degree. I just wanted to warn people of the terror that we have gone through especially today and last times visit, so that no one has to gone through what we’ve been through.

an orangey colour, the blonde yellow. I took a photo with me on what was wanted. If she did not know how to do this she should have said so. I had a full fringe however she cut it and another short layer (looks like 2 fringes or broken pieces ) never asked me. As for the back there’s a line where she trimmed ends, it does not blend. It’s a total mess. Looked dry, different colours, no blending. I do not or will not recommend, it’s low quality. I contacted their head office by their feedback submission form twice. No response. I left comment on Instagram, I received a reply that they’d get back to me, nothing. I have requested a refund, no response. I paid $290. The other thing that annoys me is family members of staff being on site who do not work there, why are they there? KeD
