My experience with [Name removed] was hugely disappointing and I’d advise you to stay away. This is an edit of my initial Google review, and what I can only assume is the case with most of the people who have placed a review here, I was encouraged to provide a positive review before I had an understanding of the scope of work and the shocking billing practices.

The first of so many red flags was when [Name Removed] didn’t take the time to understand my business. To this day, I don’t think he could describe what my business did, and he didn’t ask any pertinent questions. He gave the impression that everything was covered, but after the initial meeting, his team worked in relative silence. Then came the bill.

I’ve since engaged a proper tax consultant and found out that I was wildly overcharged by [Name Removed]. The ultra-basic level of accounting work was met with an ultra-premium charge – and the charges kept coming. 
My important learning from dealing with [Name Removed] is to next time: engage an accountant that takes the time to learn about your business or your work; who asks questions about what you do and (most importantly) finds out legitimate ways to minimise your taxable income – instead of looking at your actual income and trying to figure out a way to slice out as much as they can.

As a relatively recent resident of Queensland, I know now that there are plenty of decent accountants around. Steer clear of [Name Removed] operation, though. It was a bad start for me.

Just a really good accountant – We run a small wholesale company and a couple of years ago we changed to Mohr Solutions for our accounting needs and have never been happier with this decision. We’ve tried a couple of other firms over the years but have found Jeremy at Mohr to be really on the ball with fresh idea’s, approach and knowledge.
