Morgan & Finch Egyptian Cotton Sheets

My sheets just say cotton. They don't last. Have had sheets and pillow slips rip badly. Had 3 sets. Not many left. Only 1 small person in the bed. Certainly won't buy again or recommend. Show details
I just bought my 4th set and over the years of having them, my favourite sheets. They have coolness but with weight. They feel wonderful. I have to but the extra deep for most mattresses though. The pillow cases could be a little more generous though as they are very snug on tall pillows. When they are on sale, they are excellent value. My faves : Luxe 1200 TC Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set - White. Show details
Worst sheets I've ever bought. Wash and feel like canvas. After 6 washes in cold water and line dried they have shrunk so much they no longer tuck in and corners of fitted sheet have come unstitched. For $450.00 I've been ripped off. Have complained to shop purchased from with no help. Not happy Jan Show details
POOR QUALITY Bed Bath & Table Sheet Sets – I bought Morgan & Finch sheet sets for super king-sized bed... what a disappointment after a short time put my finger through the sheet!! What on earth has happened in Australia for such poor quality cotton to even be sold here!!!! Show details
Ripped off – Never buying again. Double bedsheets - i bought 2 pairs, Fitted sheetss are too big for my mattress. Not the size they claimed to be. Unusable, will never buy again…….$300 to the Op shop! Ripped off!
Really unhappy with poor finish – Purchased Ashcroft 400 TC Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set in Mustard from Bed Bath n Table while on sale for $109.95 (usually $219.95) This product is described, in part, as “The Ashcroft sheet set will add a touch of luxury to your bedroom and is expertly finished with a Barotti stitch detail.” In fact, not only is the fabric (forming the hem on the… Read more
top edge of the fitted sheet) twisted but also the stitching detail has caused puckering (gathering up of the fabric). It is impossible to ‘iron out’ these manufacturing faults. The result is an unsightly, poor-quality appearance on the most visible part of the sheet. Definitely not luxury or expertly finished. Really unhappy and wish I could return the product for a refund.
Should have read the reviews – DON’T BUY THESE. After one wash they shrank so much they were almost impossible to use ( they actually ripped on the corner as they were so tight). After the second wash definitely don’t fit hopefully they will go on a double ( I bought Queen size) as they weren’t cheap so I don’t want to throw them out. Show details
No thanks – Didn’t realise at the time of purchase that you had changed the style of your pillow cases. Two ties in the middle makes it very difficult to take pillow out and then put back in another one. I have fibromyalgia and this makes it extremely difficult to do. Also king size doona cover way too big for king size doona………used to be good but not now, won’t buy again. Show details
Weird sizes - King Size – Definitely a pattern of sizing gone wrong. We purchased the King size Dalton sheet sheets (400tc bamboo cotton) and it's too big. We've got a standard king size bed, with standard king size sheets and the fitted sheet is fully loose. You know when you put a fitted sheet on and you struggle, this just goes over the edges with plenty of material… Read more
left over. Don't know what's going on but hopefully bed bath n beyond accept a refund. Seems soft enough but as soft as my Morgan and Finch sheets from like 10 years ago. Quality seems to have gotten cheaper
Sheet set does not match size stated on packaging – Purchased 1200 Egyptian Cotton LUXE extra deep Queen sheets in Eucalypt Green at Bed Bath & Table and washed prior to use (as instructed). When hanging them on the line I noticed that the pillowcases looked very small, short and narrow. Upon measuring I realised that they did not match the size stated on the packaging - 45.5cm x 66cm instead of… Read more
48cm x 73cm. Then measured the sheets and again way too small by 15cm. This is now the second set of sheets I am returning to Bed Bath & Table due to the product being much smaller than shown on the packaging/advertised. Whilst I love the colour and feel of the sheets they are simply no good if they do not fit the bed or my pillows. Very disapointed.
Never again – Very disappointed with these 1200 thread count expensive sheets. The bottom sheet ripped after about 24 uses. Cloth very thin round rip. Cheaper sheets still going string after 10 years. I’ll never buy this brand again. Show details
Deep Queen is perfect size and very comfortable – Purchased a new queen-size mattress with extra deep sides so had to buy new sheets. Morgan and Finch deep queen sheets fit perfectly, have a great quality print and are comfortable. I have washed them and no noticeable shrinkage occurred. Given the expected 'life' of these sheets, I don't consider them costly. Show details
Not the real thing – For the price and the apparent reputation of Egyptian Cotton, these sheets are stiff, thick & noisy. First night we overheated which means these sheets don't breathe therefore they are fake. We took them off. To be fair, tried them again a month later, same thing, we overheated. This doesn't happen with our other cheaper cotton sheets. Never again. Show details

Disappointing Sheet Set – I wanted a change from my usual Sheridan sheet sets so Morgan & Finch was my 1st choice. So unhappy, actually disappointed as after washing the set as stated on instructions, I went to iron the top sheet header and it does not line up and is very difficult to iron flat without any creases, which looks totally awful on my bed. Now I find myself… Read more
having sew the crease down to attempt to make it stay flat and inline, looks awful. I bought 2 sets so I can never recommend Morgan & Finch again. Never will I pay $129.95 for their sheet sets but cost is not the issue, so back to Sheridan
Take care when purchasing – Cost doesn't constitute quality. I'd rather my ALDI sheet set any day that was a quarter of the price. These are like cardboard even a year later. Elastic gone. Crease so easily. Cold in winter hot in summer even with a higher thread count. Show details
Lovely sheets, but wish they were 50cm deep – This review is for Carson Royale 600 TC Egyptian Cotton sheet set DB. I love these sheets, they have a nice smooth sateen finish, and are very finely woven. They are very soft but with a little bit of crispness which I like. I also like that the elastic is completely enclosed rather than sewn on. I've had them for nearly a year and a half and they… Read more
are good as new with no signs of wear at all. My only issue is the fitted sheet only comes 40cm deep for a DB size. This depth barely fits my brand new mattress. They only make a 50cm depth in a 'Deep Queen' size. This is very annoying, as lots of mattresses sizes these days are quite deep, not just queen mattresses. If I purchased these again I would have to buy a Deep QB size (much more expensive) and use my sewing skills to make it fit my double. And I also notice the price has gone up a lot in the last year. Sigh..
Seems to be selling counterfiet product – Queen bed sheets arent even queen size and there're are expensive too. Seems to be selling counterfiet product. Overall product is not quite right. won't be buying that again ever.
My partner and I just love the feel, we had a fantastic night of sleep – I’ve had a 600TC before which as ok. Now we have got, for our new king bed, the 1200TC Sateen Egyptian cotton - 60% off, paying only 200 box. Honestly, just perfect! I love the quality. I confess I was afraid it would be way too thick and consequently too warm that I wouldn’t sleep well. But not! Hotel feeling, just luxxx. it is crisp and… Read more
resistant. I’m very happy with my purchase and recommend it 100%. I also bought another set from another luxurious Australian brand to compare. Morgan and finch was way much superior, the other brand was just more expensive.
Disappointed- expecting 5 star hotel quality – Thin weave (1000 count purchased). Paid over $300 for king size set. Washed before use then noticed pilling when i put the sheets on for the first time. Luxury feel, lacking.
Sheets far too small, constantly pop off the corners – I have purchased a number of the Morgan and Finch LUXE 1200 TC Egyptian Cotton Sheet Sets in Extra Deep for both my King and Queen mattresses however even though they are supposed to fit the newer deep mattresses they are far too small and then shrink further in the wash. Putting the sheets on is a difficult task as trying to stretch them enough… Read more
to even get them over the corners of the mattress is hard enough but then every time you put one corner on the other pops off. Sleeping in the bed causes the corners to pop off, getting in and out of the bed causes the corners to pop off, it even seems that looking at them causes the corners to pop off. Top sheet is also far too small. For the price of these sheets they could afford to throw in a bit of extra fabric.
Sheet Size Labels – I find it so frustrating that most sheet manufacturers, do not clearly mark sheet sizes on the sheets. Would it be so hard to put a K, Q etc on them? They do it for clothing.
Morgan and Finch sheets - poor quality – I decided to pay the extra for the "Egyptian cotton" sheets in the Morgan & Finch Ashcroft range (Erina Fair store). These sheets are very poor quality (in comparison to other brand sheets I have bought in the same price range). Sleeping on the sheets feels like nylon sandpaper. They stay creased after hanging on the clothesline and are so thin… Read more
you can see through them! (Not caused by my washing machine or detergent). I'm very disappointed at the waste of money on this purchase.
Beware of shrinkage & top sheet too small – Purchased Queen Deep sized sheet set which supposedly is suitable for the new mattresses that are higher in depth. Firstly the top sheet is too small in width and you can't tuck it in. The other problem is shrinkage...I have washed the sheets twice now and the fitted sheet needs a lot of tugging to get on and the top sheet now looks more like a… Read more
double sheet. These sheets are expensive and even on sale cost well over $100. Look elsewhere.. I found better quality and sizing for less.
