Terrible Customer Service - do not buy! – The customer service and spare parts on this device is atrocious. I am chasing a replacement cord for the multi function cooking pot. I called 6 months ago and was told they didnt know if they supply replacement power cables. I was assured I would get a call back, they never called me back. I then called again today, was bounced about… Read more

departments 3 times before I was transferred to the right department. I was then met with a very rude lady who cut me off and didnt want to hear my story. I was then told that the part I am looking for (that you can't buy anywhere else because it's a proprietary power cable) isn't available in Australia and blamed covid for the shortage

You have enough power cables to supply with new units that you sell, but can't supply replacements for existing customers - what a joke.

I won't be buying anything from Morphy Richards EVER again!

Decent pressure cook for a unbeatable price! – I got it from JB with clearance price. I didn't expect much of it but it has saved me numerous times to making a meal for my family. Good for slow cooking meat and reasonable power consumption. Now, I enjoy using my receipt in a very simple way for every lovely meal!!!!  Show details

This is great. So love cooking with it – I bought this pressure cooker and so far one of the best buys I ever conducted. Very convenient and cooks great. Now I cook many things I never like doing before, like lamb shanks. Save me lots of time cooking and easy to clean up. I love it. Money well spent and now enjoying great recipes. My only wish is that it can't simmer. I wish it could simmer. But then again, its a pressure cooker and not design to simmer.  Show details ·  1

Has been a fantastic cooker – Since receiving this as a gift I have made great use out of the unit making dinners for my family (5 adults and one child) which feeds everyone with enough for seconds or freezer leftovers. The applications for pressure cooking are only limited by your imagination, I've even cooked roasts in this machine by using the included wire tray that sits… Read more ·  1

at the bottom.

My parents commented when using it themselves that they found the writing on the screen difficult to read, it's very small.

My only complaint with the machine has been the quality of the lid. The first couple of times I washed the lid, the safety text for the valve (direction of open/closed venting) has rubbed away so I had to guess for a while which way was closed. Also, after a few forceful attempts to remove the lid when it was not screwed on correctly (user error), the plastic handle has broken and now I cannot remove the lid without burning myself with steam. However, 4 years after getting the machine and I am only just replacing it, it has done very well.

over priced trash – nice looking cooker but thats about the only good quality about it , i dont like to leave bad reviews BUT this cooker is terrible , i pressure cooked potatoes to make mashed potatoes with , upon taking them out and mashing it i noticed specks all through the potatoes (if id have used herbs id have put it down to those) i picked several of these… Read more

*specks* out and relaised it was part of the insert bowl ,i then went over to inspect the bowl that had peeled in chunks into the food , pretty sure that cant be healthy guys, returned my item and had to argue that i did not destry the bowl with metal items it was the second use and i have no idea weather first cookout was the same as it was a dark dish i put in it , not happy at all

NO REPAIR SERVICE IN AUSTRALIA – My Morphy Richards Electric Pressure Cooker came up with an E4 error code. I contacted Morphy Richards in Australia and they had NO idea what it was. They recommended I contact the UK. How ridiculous! Anyway, I emailed them and they said it was a pressure issue, but that there was nothing they could do and they recommended I throw it out. Cannot believe it hasn't even lasted 3 years!!

Morphy Richards Pressure Cooker 48815 – We had initially purchased a Pressure Pro but had to return it owing manufacturer's faults. Some time was taken to find another Pressure Cooker that we believed could perform as well as the Pressure Pro. Morphy Richards was our choice, I guess because it looked professional and the price was right, $99 at Harvey Norman in Traralgon Victoria. We… Read more

have made quite a few meals, bare in mind experience was already gained from the Pressure Pro. The results were as good as if not better than the Pressure Pro, and a third of the price. I realise the lights and buttons are a little small, not really an issue. Cleaning the unit and lid is quite easy and not time consuming.

We have two years warranty but hope to get a lot more out of this unit.

Thank you Mr or Mrs Morphy Richards.

Looks Over Function – I loved the look of this pressure cooker and got a good price at Myers, $100 but it's no good in use. There is no proper handle for opening and closing; the buttons are too vague and small; the lights are too small; the printing is too small. The steamer and trivet are poor quality. I took it back for a refund after one week and bought a Breville

Morphy Richards Pressure cooker - things that make me go YAY! – Absolutely LOVE this appliance. Once I knew it was a 15 PSI pressure cooker (contacted the company) adapting recipes was easy. I have not had a single failure and in fact have produced the BEST Pea & Ham Soup ever and a Beef Curry to die for (NO - no-one ended up in ICU). Lamb Shanks that are lucky to make it to a plate - seriously, and a very… Read more

respectable corned beef (though my slow cooker one really kicks donkey!). No scary moments with lifting the lid as you cannot open it until pressure has released. (ALWAYS use a rubber/silicone glove). FAST, light, easy clean, attractive when on display (working). Fast delivery with OO.Com Instruction book a bit light on for novices. PSI NOT mentioned in booklet (15 PSI) and the seal is a fiddly thing but you can clean it thoroughly and that is more important for me personally.

Great kitchen appliance!! – I bought this Morphy Richards pressure cooker over a year ago and I am still getting delicious meals out of it - osso buco, risottos, beef briskets, roast chickens, braised pork belly. Once you've read the manual, it's very easy to use. I love how I can make great meals in a short amount of time. Reliable, easy to clean, good size Slightly confusing steam vent indicator

Fantastic cooker! Took my fears of explosion away! – We bought this gadget last month and so far it hasn't disappoint us. Easy to use and clean. 1st time users should read the instructions carefully, a little steam at first is ok. One thing that I'm quite puzzled about is its vent (to release steam) is quite loose, doesn't fit tightly, not sure if that's how it meant to be. A good buy overall. Good size, effective, easy to clean  Show reply

Still working how to cook with it – Whilst I appreciate the time saving factor of this cooker, I don't think the results with more solid pieces of meat (such as beef ribs, lamb shanks etc) are as tender and delicious as the slow cooking method. Smaller cuts for stews, casseroles & braises (like osso bucco) are terrific and come out tender & juicy although haven't been able to… Read more

figure out how to get the gravy thick. It's always set by the next morning.

With no previous experience of pressure cooking, I found the instructions very easy to follow and the appliance extremely user friendly once we figured out the correct position for the steam knob.

From what I've read about adjusting temps for pressure on the manual models, this is a breeze and automatically adjusts itself for the set cooking time. More info on cooking times for various dishes and/or a conversion table (from oven times to pressure cooker times) would be a handy tool when learning to use these. Very easy to use Took a bit to work out the correct position for steam vent indicator.
