Mother-ease Sandy's Diaper

Great nappies – Very good quality and durable mcn. I bought some second hand, was very impressed with the quality, as they were still in perfect condition despite a fair bit of use, so bought more new ones. I could fit the small sized ones on bub at 6 weeks. Advantage over the all in one nappies is that you don't need to wash PUL covers at every use, and nappies… Read more
last longer as the PUL deteriorates quicker than the actual nappies. I haven't had any leaks, the nappies work better than disposable ones!
Excellent – Did a lot of research on cloth nappies before I purchased, working out what nappy system would work for me, what material, what price can we afford etc. And I am really happy I made this purchase and glad I had them for the first couple of months for my little one. I've already loaned them to a friend for her baby to use for 2-3 months and they… Read more
are still is great nick and will be used again on any future babies! I tried the XS size for my little one as he arrived a few weeks early and was too small for the mother-ease one-size nappies that I had purchased. These were great, nice and trim. Not too bulky under the 0000 clothes. Contained all the poo in the nappy, whereas when I used disposables on outings we would sometimes have blow-outs. The bamboo was especially soft. Really easy to use and snap to the right adjustment around the thighs and the waist. Using the XS size, my little one grew out of these pretty quickly - by 3 months. But we then just used the one-size, which are great. I suppose as baby gets older they don't grow as fast and won't therefore grow out of the bigger sandie sizes as quickly. They would be quite expensive as you have to buy each size as baby outgrows the last size. But if you can afford it - they are great!
Excellent – I have tried loads of different kinds of nappies and these are my favourites. I have them in organic cotton and they hold up so well, stay soft, and I like that my bub doesn't have to always have a waterproof cover on them. They have stayed really soft through lots of washings and haven't worn out, I found that ones with waterproof covers and… Read more
non-natural fabrics against the baby's skin wear out relatively quickly. Incredibly absorbent, could even be used as a night nappy with the booster. When I have another baby I will be buying a whole set. Natural fabric against baby's skin, can be worn without a cover for more breathability during the day or just pop the cover on when you go out. Side snaps make them fit more like little pants. Organic cotton option. Nothing! I do like the idea of OSFA nappies but they don't fit as well as the sized fitted nappies
Excellent – I bought smalls, but baby hasn't fit them well until 4 months old. So I exchanged for some extra-smalls and they fit much better. Baby was a 9-pounder with skinny waist and legs, and he still fits the extra small at 4 months old (at maximum setting). I wish I'd bought the extra small and small with the Rikki small covers. Baby will probably fit… Read more
the one-size with Airflow covers at 6 months or more (although I use these at night).
The maximum setting on the extra small Sandys is approximately equivalent to the minimum or near minimum on the small Sandys and one-size.
The Rikki small covers fit the extra small and small size Sandys MUCH more snugly than the Airflow small covers. Extra Small fits newborn (I had 9-pounder with skinny waist and legs).
Excellent – Great, absorbent workhorse nappy. So far have used the xs and small. Wider in the crotch than many mcn. This bothers some people but I find it a plus for absorbency and reliability. I used the cotton version, as I like to line dry and bamboo takes a bit longer (but I believe it is trimmer, if that is a consideration). Works well with… Read more
Motherease covers, or Bumpy wool wraps if you prefer wool it is an awesome option. Love these nappies! Even overnight. Absorbent, no leaks or poo explosions, soft, line dry well, durable Slightly bulkier than some nappies, take longer to line dry than the one size motherease.
