Motorcharge

I got a cold call from Caltex about some fuel cards and was told about the discount on fuel, so I decided to give it a go , the lady said I had to use the card to activate them . After checking out the price of Caltex fuel compared to what I could get it for without discounts it wasn’t worth it . They rang me a few weeks later to see why I hadn’t used them so I told them it wasn’t worth it . She said hang onto them to see how I go . Now I have a card management fee of $10 for something I haven’t used and now a late payment fee of $15 dollars for something I haven’t used. I’m trying to cancel these ripoff cards but they make it extremely difficult. I don’t recommend these cards because there’s cheaper fuel around without their discount. And I still haven’t got anywhere yet with the cancellation

Getting Worse – I’ve been a Motorcharge User for well over a decade. Ever since “WEX” became part of the organisation, it’s clearly suffering. First I get sent a legal-speak, letter of demand. I called out to my wife if we still had Motorcharge on automatic direct debit. “Yes!” she said. Then I look at the amount - $0.03!!! WTH! Are they going to put my credit rating at risk for 3 cents that THEY DIDN’T COLLECT?

So got in touch with them, and I thought it was all sorted.

Scroll forward and their direct debit system fails again and we are to blame for a late payment.

I’m shopping for a new fuel card, I can’t risk these idiots affecting my credit rating. WEX has stuffed things up since they took over.
