Great alternative to iPhone – Purchased E5 model 4 months ago and so far so good. Didn't want an iPhone and found this phone was what I needed with similar features without the huge pricetag. Only thing to make it better would be more internal storage. Show details
Great phone for the price, fantastic battery life – I have the E4 plus, I bought it off eBay. I intended to buy the standard E4, but the supplier had run out, amazingly they agreed to supply the E4 plus for the same price (about $150 from memory). I am extremely happy with the phone, it performs well and has fantastic battery life. When you open the back you see that about 80% of the phone is… Read more
battery, a huge 5000mAh. It isn't the fastest phone around, you do have slight waits for apps etc. But compared to other cheap phones I have had it is fantastic. It seems to be quite solid, I have dropped it more times than I can remember and it is all ok with absolutely no blemishes. I used the camera extensively on a recent trip to Austria after dropping and breaking my Nikon camera, excellent results using the phone camera. I believe there is an E5 out now and I am sure this would be just more of the same only better. Great phone.
My Mum at 79 loves this phone – I purchased this phone for my 79 year old Mum who has never been able to manage a phone beyond calls before. This has a large touch screen sharp clear apps and the home screen i have completely customised for her use. She loves this phone so much she now has cancelled her landline and has only her mobile and feels 100 % comfortable with this. Mum… Read more
takes photos like a pro and loves sending them to all the family. Text messages are easy with this phone although at times can be a little difficult due to key size. I purchased her a case as without one it is slippery and can be difficult to stabalize with arthritic hands but the case solved this problem. I did however have to order one from usa as this was unavailable in Australia. Takes micro mini card . Battery life dissapointing All in all a good quality phone, well worth the price and a great choice for all ages.
For the "average" smartphone user, this is the perfect phone! – Here are the good points: 1. Android Nougat (fast, stable and quality) 2. Excellent colour and brightness 3. Intuitive, easy-to-manage menu system 4. a "perfect" screen size! (large enough to display wonderful graphics but small enough to fit in your pocket!) 5. a REMOVABLE battery (Oh dear - how will those who purchase a phone with… Read more
non-removable batteries SUFFER when (after about 2-3 years) the batteries die and they've lost the phone!)
6. Good battery life (I ran it all day from 06:30 to 21:00 and only lost 15% of battery power!)
7. Excellent Apps
8. Motorola even provide you with a free-postage return bag for your old phone and batteries - looking after the environment
9. Good sound quality
10. Great for web browsing
11 Excellent speed (including boot speed).
12 What more could you like?
13. I love this phone so much I'm buying one for my wife!
14. COST - a mere $165 AUD
Good value for the price – Needed a phone quickly and for under $200 this seemed like a good choice. Liked that it has a micro SD card slot - this is where my only issue with the phone is, every couple of months the phone stops reading the card and I have to format it. Otherwise it's a good phone, fairly fast with multiple apps open. Battery lasts a day. I don't do anything crazy with it, just web browsing and texting. Show details
Excellent phone – This phone is easy to use and the functions of the phone are really quite easy and self explanatory to use. You can add up to 5 fingerprint identities to the phone which makes it very easy to open the phone and also stops other people from using your phone as well as having a pattern so it is protected in two ways from incorrect use byn people you don't want using your phone rather than a password which you can have if you so desire Show details
Good budget phone – Bought it around 3 years and lasted me 2 years, not bad for a phone that only set me back $200 at the time. The phone itself is built sturdy so no need to worry about dropping it and with a $1 screen protecter no scracthes on the screen from at least 8-9 times I have dropped it. Really easy to use for an android phone maybe not as good as iphone… Read more
apps but still generally good. Camera was ok nothing special as suggested, colors are sharp, the only downfall is the system that it runs. Sometimes apps can crash without any warning and it will go into reboot mode and you will get stuck on it. Phone stopped working for me when I got the boot loop and could do nothing about it as it was out of warranty and no soultions online could help. $200 for a phone that lasted 2 years and preform reasonably well is a bargain in my opinion. Should hold it's own against the $400-$600 smartphones currently on offer.
Good basic phone – The first android phone I bought. Works well and has all the basic things in it, not a fancy phone but enough to make phone calls and browse online. Camera quality isn't great. Enough memory for my needs. Easy to use including the handy finger print lock/unlock scanner. Fairly poor battery life though. Enough memory to play kiddo games. Show details
Dead on arrival – It never charged or powered on. It would not have been big issue if I got replacement phone, or battery or refund in order to buy another one. But no. Lenovo – Motorola and Office works decided to start the red tape game: prove this, prove that, bring it here, ship it there, you wait we fix it. Australian consumer laws do not apply to them. Poor phone and even worse customer service. Show details
