Can't even answer calls – This phone is mostly unusable. I cannot answer calls because the phone is not responsive for sometimes upto a few minutes. When it is slightly working it takes upto 20 secs for the keyboard to pop up when clicking on a text input box. Most common apps take ages to load and the screen goes blank for upto a minute or so. I only used the phone because my pixel 3 died after 4 years of faithful service.
The slowest phone I have ever seen – While I think this is reasonable value at the price, it drives me nuts. The lag can be up to two minutes between typing something in and it actually registering. Also up to a minute to respond to pressing apps etc. This is good as an emergency phone for calls only. You get what you pay for I guess.
Give this phone a miss – Purchased this phone and was happy with the initial performance recognizing price etc. Initial glitch was the phone required a re boot to send MMS if it was initially on WIFI. A few weeks after purchase incoming and outgoing calls created a screen blackout and sometimes the phone crashed. Took the phone in for repair and 3 weeks later received it… Read more
back, went ok for about 2 months and then the blackout /crash scenario started again. I lost all confidence in this phone and have since purchased another brand.
It's functional – This phone is very affordable and functional like most Motorola phones I used in the past. It isn't as user friendly compared to most other phones I used, and the camera is very average. Just a cheap usable phone.

call on it with an app it freezes, takes literally minutes to complete a task and often you have to reboot just to clear the available ram. The ONLY good thing is the battery life
Even making calls was a chore! It lags so badly I just gave up most of the time. Absolutly awful performance in a great looking phone.
All Mototola had to do was increase the pathetic 2gb or RAM and this would have been a GREAT budget phone

No more motorola phones for me – I was a big fan of the Motorola Phones from the original Moto G series. I've since gotten 3 more (G4, E5 and E7 Power), and they have progressively gotten worse. Issues with the E series - laggy and unable to perform smoothly when basic applications are being used - screen blacks out when calls are made, unable to hang up, use speaker phone etc.… Read more
Need to reboot
I can no longer recommend this line of phones to anyone, and will be seeking out other budget Android phone manufacturers which can provide a basic level of functionality, which the moto cannot.
Got less that what I paid for – The phone is so slow after less than 6 months. I got two sub 300 dollar phones for the kids. One was a oppo the other was this. The Motorola was so slow and froze up. Asked office works about it and they said they could help with a warranty claim but as it's been scratched we can't really take it back. I will stay away from Motorola phones from now on. Slower than Windows 95 – This phone is slower than Windows 95. It crashes, takes forever to start, every application takes forever and ever to start, every app crashes all the time, I have never hated a phone more in my life. Show details
It's so slow and its terrible :( – The price is the only consolation but the processor is so slow and it crashes on me even if SD card is big on memory. Camera and video is also poor but I'm not surprised. I was just disappointed with the slowness of it being a Motorola a known brand for mobiles Show details
