Motorola Moto G05 (2025)

Bought Sep 2025 Tech said was an entry level phone and US reputed Motorola co. now owned by a Chinese co but price affordable for a senior vs an IPhone. 1. Basically responsive tho' now unevenly performing software:: 2. Storage capacity not minimally ample for normal text, search, photos-- at about half capacity already from updates and 87 basic, no bells & whistles, apps. No banks', no social media corres, no video downloads nor uploads. 3. Used for online access to service websites, emailing, on Messages occasionally with photos. 4. Regularly purge emails and in Messages but no reduction in storage % results. 5. Disobedient software: Screen still flips at times on permanent off; Wifi and Sound's media) Notices self-acctuate by morning after turned off on bedside table. And just now screen brightness went -0- when in Inbox--nowhere near brightness scale slide control in Settings. 6. Ad nauseum repetitive popups of "Change input method" language choice to tick while in same message. 7. Intrusive slide-ins from MSoft and Google's Android partner-paid pop-ups blocked screen midst banking transaction; couldn't remove fast b4 bounced off screen, having to re-login and restart. 7.Android's instant word correction faulty in emails and texts with no improvement over the years. Misspell popup menu of alternatives is a 4+ but invasive add-ins of entirely different words JUST AFTER moving to next type is outrageous and potentially damaging to relationships if not proofed afterward. Software needs a makeover recheck. 8. Keyboard too small in spacing in-between for female's indelicate working fingers or if calloused to effect an action.
Purchased in for $169.
ATROCIOUS BLUETOOTH AND ADS IN YOUR FACE Shocking bluetooth connection on this phone. Took multiple attempts to pair with portable speaker and health device. Later it just would not connect to speaker, even if right next to it. It CONTINUALLY disconnected from health device. Dozens of times a day. It refused to even pair with earbuds. My well-known Chinese brand phone (starting with X) would stay connected to health device all day unless it was outside stated range. Easily connects to both speaker and earbuds. This is LOW QUALITY bluetooth. One more gripe: I've refused to update because the phone put a bunch of ADS in my face when I first started it. I'm concerned they will just get worse. What is it with companies that are too greedy to just accept your money for hardware and leave it at that? They want to do you with ads and tracking too? Disgusting.
