She'll be right staff attitudes, costs customer 75% more per item – I was referred to Mr Filter and I purchased some products, paid for the products in full in good faith to save time for collection later as they were not in stock, products had to be changed to another brand as stock levels in PC were wrong, I asked about difference in price at sales desk when i went back and before i left to then request adjustments as i had already paid for a product i was no longer getting, staff withheld the price when asked in regards to the replacement price used, the answer i got was "Oh these ones are more expensive but we will take the hit" (did not even look at screen to check) subsequently did a price check with MrFilter head office minutes after leaving the store and as it seemed odd, i was quoted a price 75% lower for same product in a mirrored system with Yatala store, I advised management in Sydney via email thinking the correct thing to do so they could manage their staff and my complaint would be handled on its obvious merit, management turned into the bad guys, changed the price in the system to a higher price, actually said thanks for letting us know its too cheap, challenged and made me to feel wrong and twisted the story to suit themselves, also they pulled the old pitty offering of a discount on another filter next time im in. There will be no next time Mr Filter, also the fellow who referred me is finding alternate supply and he refunded me the difference as he was embarrassed due to the situation and how Mr Filter responded and said "i'll take the hit (pun intended) just do a review so others are aware incase it happened to them, so this is my review.
Fair Trading are bounded by the twisted lies they are told from the defending company directors when the complaint is processed, i have no faith in the legal system or any watchdog process when Cunning Rats defend themselves, in this case you may of fooled Fair Trading with crap (who don't care anyway) but this post is not about that, it is to make others aware that your policies and business is focused inwards and one sided, that is all that matters as i made many people aware of your ways, to be tricked and lied to at a point of sale counter is just treating customers like fools.

I see that you're not satisfied with the decision handed down to you by "Fair trading" that you lodged your compliant to about our company, ruling that your complaint with Mr Filter was INVALID and UNLAWFUL. Fair Trading have illustrated to you that our company have attempted to satisfy your dissatisfaction with your experience with Mr Filter on many occasions and you will not accept our generosity as an act of good will and faith only, with a filter FREE of charge, which we really didn't have to do. If you are going to go public with your gripe with our company, please tell the whole story and not what you want the public to see. I think almost 3 decades in business speaks for itself. Our company did not get where it is today on a "she'll be right" attitude. We are a family run company, and we take a lot of pride in what we do. We have many 5-star reviews from our customers. I am sorry you feel the way you do. We generously offered you a filter at "NO CHARGE" and you refused to take it, which we have in writing from you. If you cannot accept money back in your pocket in way of a NEW FILTER FREE OF CHARGE, then that's entirely up to you, but please let people who read this know that we tried. We wish you all the best.
