Couldn’t believe the poor service! – We saw the Mumma Jo’s Diner on Kitchen Nightmares and decided to drop by. We drove over 200 kilometres from Sydney. We were standing waiting, reading the menu and listening to the gossip for close to 10 minutes. A man did come out of the kitchen, went back in. He came out a second time to clean the grill. All that time we were waiting, without being acknowledged! Poor, poor service. My husband had had enough. We were on our way out, but not before my husband stopped to point count the lack of service! Waiting for nearly 10 minutes in a small space without being acknowledged was ridiculous! If you are in Wallerawang don’t waste your time at Mumma Jo’s. Go up the road to the Bakery, where you find hard working friendly staff, who understand service, offer good bakery food with the addition of food like burgers and chips. The Bakery is well patronised my locals as a recommendation.
