Musashi Growling Dog Pre-Workout Maximiser
2 reviews
Gluteus Gassius maximus – This workout made me feel queasy and windy. The only pre workout boost I got was fart power. Don’t try squatting and deadlifting your max after taking this. I thought it would give me a good pump and hype me up but no, instead it screwed around with my guts. I want energy not combustion.

Terrible – This is the first pre-workout drink I've taken in the last decade (not been weight training) so I was expecting something (anything!) as I got back into it properly and my hungry untrained muscles soaked in supps again. This product is composed primarily of complex sugars, some BCAA's (a few grams worth) and apparently, 2-3 gms of Creatine. However, I have been taking pure Creatine Monohydrate (about 3 gms on non-training days, also Musashi brand) separately to this drink, and have had a chance to rate Creatine on its own, without any other supps getting in the way. So, Creatine works - nuff said! You all already know that. When I don't take pure Creatine Monohydrate powder however, and use only this product, NONE of the positive effects of Creatine Monohydrate supplementation are present and only the negatives. However, if I mix my regular 3 gms of pure Creatine powder into this Maximiser drink pre-workout, it does work - I get the Creatine pump and the workout stamina back. So either Musashi Workout Maximiser has no Creatine present, or too little to do any good. Which means you're wasting your money on a clumpy bad mixing, stomach upsetting, sugar rush. Not worth it - even when on special (more than 50% off) like I bought it. go get pure Creatine Monohydrate powder for 1/20 the price, and knock yourself out! ;) * Tastes OK * Stomach cramps & diarrohea if taken with food
* appears to have no Creatine in it?
* mixes terribly lumpy - often lumps left stuck to bottom of glass
* doubts about it having *any* active ingredients present at all?
