M.W Painting & Decorating

Mick painted our exterior 18 months ago and it still looks great. We have just had him do our entire interior and it looks fabulous. EDIT: Wrong company, it was MW painting I used not MW Painting & Decorating

To do a good job at a reasonable price that met all our expectations with care and consideration. We asked for his card to recommend to friends and family for further work in the future.

Don't engage this firm under any circumstance – I posted a review of this firm, about 5 months ago. At that time it was based in Willetton. At that time, he produced work to a standard I, as an amateur painter, would be ashamed of. The exterior woodwork of our home, began pealing almost immediately. When contacted to rectify the job, my wife was subjected to abuse and swearing. I assure readers that both my wife or myself, were courteous at all times and simply requested him to make a time to fix the problem. Due to his attitude, I decided to finish the job myself. It appears the firm is now not based in Willetton. Apparently, it has moved to Allanson (Collie) and set up business. Michel Whitworth's website shows 'glowing' endorsements of his work. However, I implore prospective clients to think before they engage M.W Painting & Decorating, to do any painting or decorating work. Don't do it, as it's not worth the risk.

Shoddy Work - Rude Response - Stay Away – I had some major painting done on my home, by M.W Painting. The work was generally satisfactory except for repairs to deteriorating window frames. They returned and repainted the frames. However, the paint again peeled after a very few months. On phoning them, we were told he "Would be there after that upcoming weekend". Obviously he meant 'well after' because we're still waiting. We sent another message on 31 August 2020. No response was received. I sent another message today (11 September 2021). My wife received a phone call. His response was, "F... Of .......". The whole affair shows the level of M.W Painting's lack of pride in their work, and attitude towards their customer. Please do yourselves a favour and stay away from this firm.
