The support provided by my MySide Gen 1 mattress started deteriorating within 18 months, and upon checking the warranty I saw that they were unlikely to take on a claim unless I could demonstrate 4 cm or more of visible sag. So I waited another year, and things got worse. I was tossing and turning so much to try and alleviate back pain, which resulted in very poor sleep. I started a warranty claim in earnest and initially was dismissed outright as there was no visible sagging, and with a generic statement that body impressions 'can create comfortable, healthy sleep'. I am shortly to escalate this to Forty Winks as the retailer responsible, and to ACCC to see if I can get some sort of acceptable outcome. So far the definitions within the warranty are serving as a justification for MySide not to investigate customer claims of poor mattress performance.
Follow-up · Following several weeks of back and forth with the customer service team at MySide and Forty Winks, my claim is now being investigated. My mattress will be picked up and replaced with a loan mattress whilst they investigate the issue. I have been offered a free 're spec' of the mattress which I have accepted. Persistence pays off.
I went to Forty Winks to try a specific mattress that I found online & the saleslady [Name Removed] came to help me . I told her my situation as my last mattress was starting to give me back & neck pain as I could feel the dip in it which can only be felt when laying on it & Snooze recommended the Madison using their computer sleep module. So [Name Removed] talked me into trying their computer sleep module & it recommended the MySide Gen 1. It felt good when I tried it but when I finally got it & slept on it I felt terrible back & neck pain & i struggled just to roll over to get out of bed. I tried it for over a wk & had to buy a new mattress from Harvey Norman, a Sealy posturepedic. My advice to anyone looking for a new mattress is don't trust those computers beds to tell you what suits you, take your own pillow with you, know your budget & try every mattress from plush to firm in each brand & lay on the 1 you think is best for about 20 mins before deciding. I agree with others that the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on when you can feel a dip when sleeping on it.
Follow-up · On the GEN1 when I rolled over it hurt really bad in the middle of my back that just using my muscles to turn hurt & it got worse. I was always told by 2 computer tests from different shops that I need a medium mattress but after talking to my sister about what I was going through she told me when I visited her I slept on a super firm mattress. She gave me the name of the mattress which was a sealy posturepedic acclaim & she got hers from Harvey Norman so I went & tried the mattress she told me about with my own pillow but I found the firm better for me as Greg told me to sleep on it for about 20 mins as I felt the super firm was just too hard & I didn't tell my sister that when I stayed as i was only there for the week. The firm has been wonderful & I have been able to sleep really well & I wake pain free which is great for me as I am a back & side sleeper. So far the mattress has not changed at all, it still has retained the same feel.

Stay away from MySide – Stay away. We bought a mattress recently with a Red/Blue combo, and we only got a good sleep for three weeks before the mattress lost support. It is now very uncomfortable to sleep on and MySide have refused to provide any support on the purchase. Any other brand will be better than a MySide mattress.

Terrible – Don't buy this mattress after 2 years it feels like you are about to roll off the sides with a high spot in the middle. And the Warranty department want you to jump through hoops so I gave up as a bad joke. This is the worst mattress we have ever had.
