Excellent Indian restaurant in Hanoi – Recently while in Hanoi, I visited Namaste Hanoi Indian restaurant on 15th Nov '23 for dinner with my wife. I had tasted the food from the restaurant around 8 years ago while on business trips, when we used to order take aways for a group of team members for lunch. The great taste of Indian food lingered in memory and hence during the recent visit, I was determined to visit the restaurant , which is conveniently located in the CBD. It is rare to see such wide variety of dishes in the menu which has a number of dishes from all over India, i.e. from South to North, vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, including Mughlai. The quality and quantity of the dishes is great which matches the great atmosphere in the restaurant. It was pleasing to see the owner personally visiting all tables to talk to the guests and ask for their feedback. It is a great personal achievement for the owner who started this restaurant 26 years ago and has been able to retain most of the staff over all these years. I am happy to mention that the team has successfully maintained the high standards of food and service over this long duration, which might have influenced similar name restaurants in other parts of the world.
