Worst chair on the market – By far the worst chair on the market. We had multplie breakages and with little to no help from the customer services team. Don't buy this chair. Show details

Fell apart – We were excited to get our chair but despite it being a product that is meant to grow with your child, it fell apart. Poor customer service in responding to feedback. No replacement offered as fault occurred outside of warranty but a product that is meant to have longevity should surely last more than 14 months. I just left it out for rubbish collection last night. Avoid! Show details

Literally falls apart. Do not buy – I purchased two of these chairs after I saw that they were on sale (they are always on sale by the way, so don't be fooled by the countdown on their website). After assembling them, we used them for a short time and noticed that the legs didn't stay in place. We were asked for a replacement and were sent a replacement chair, but only for one… Read more

chair. Since then we've used the replacement chair, and been very careful with both chairs. Unfortunately these chairs are not fit for purpose. Tonight, whilst my 3 year old was eating dinner her chair literally fell apart (see picture). I've emailed the company and expect a full refund, but I wanted to write this review to warn other parents. These chairs are unsafe.

Poor design and dangerous product – This chair is not only pricey for what it is but does not perform well at all in fact I'd call it a dangerous chair, the seat is small and the cushion pad slips on the wooden surface and the straps to fasten it are far too short, the tray is too small and bowels don't stick to it. However the seat is the biggest cause if concern and dangerous for your child, avoid this product at all cost save some money and get the plastic option from big W Show details

Poor quality components – Pretty disappointed with this chair. Granted, it's not an expensive product but given that it's designed to adapt as your child grows (ie. well beyond 1 year!), the build quality is pretty awful. It was ok for the first 6 months of use but once our baby turned 1 the shoddy components started to show through. - two plastic buckles snapped right… Read more

through while adjusting them - both spring loaded buttons that hold the tray onto the chair gave way - the seat board fell out twice while he was seated as it had worked its way loose...pretty dangerous! - the tray surface is no good at all for any suction bowls - they tray edging started to separate from the tray due to cleaning - the seat cushion attachment straps are too short and do nothing to stop the cushion sliding forward while seated, making it very difficult for him to sit up straight without slumping

I'd definitely recommend spending your hard earned cash on something else!

Fine for the price paid – High chair is fine for the $100 spent. However after only owning for 3 weeks the seat Velcro’s are falling off, the straps have broken and the tray is discolored and starting to bubble from moisture. The Velcro straps for the cushion on the seat are not big enough and never fastened correctly which makes the cushion slide and baby slides forward… Read more

and is constantly slumped in the seat. I like how you can easily remove the tray from the seat after each use. The high chair itself is sturdy enough. Will be purchasing another in the near future.

Good value but annoying features – This high chair does a good enough job, and at only $100 is a real affordable option. It looks great, and the design is simple but effective and safe. The tray and bar rest are easy to remove and insert. There are a couple of features that I dislike, however. For a start, the wood on the tray has started to peel and splinter away. Also, none of… Read more

these suction products such as bowls or placemats will stick to the wood. Because of how the padded cushion is fastened with two Velcro strips, it does not adhere to the seat at all, which means my 8 month old ends up slumped down low in the chair as the cushion slides around on the seat, and I really worry about his posture.

It’s also quite tricky to reinsert the cushion padding into the shells after washing them. While I love the fact the straps are black (so sensible!) and removable, you almost need to deconstruct the chair to take them off to put in the washing machine, as they are held in place by the same screws that tighten and hold the chair together. Adjusting the chair and footrest height is straightforward in principle, but does involve removing one whole side of the chair by unscrewing every screw there, although this does not need to happen regularly. There is also nowhere to store bibs etc.

All in all, for its price it is a good product, so if you’re looking for something on the cheaper end that will do a good enough job, the Nanny Annie is a good option. I however would make a different purchase if I had my time over.

Nanny Annie Wooden High Chair – This highchair is very versatile and will be used by our grandchildren for many years to come. It suits children from 6 months very comfortably and then will be adapted for older children as they visit. The price is what was most appealing to us as most highchairs of this style are much more costly.

Pleasantly surprised – Bought this high chair from the Nanny-Annie website as a cheaper version of a Stokke. Honestly wasn't expecting very much and was just hoping for something our 2.5yr old could climb in and out of. But I was surprised at the sturdiness and quality for the price we paid. Bought on sale for under $100 and it arrived the next day! Our daughter loves… Read more

it and so far i cant fault a thing. Haven't used the safety straps as they just get in the way and cushion padding makes the seating area a little small so not using that either. Once we got the adjustments correct and put a velcro pads on the bottom to stop scratched on our wooden floor it feels like we've had it for ages. Very happy.
