National Property Management - NPM

Never choose NPM!! – Terrible at managing rental propery. Tenants demaged the wall and furniture but agent said it was normal as I rented it out. Also tenants took away my sofa and desks and the agent didn‘t reply and accounts said she couldn’t do anything as the business was sold. The worst experience ever. Never trust them.
Blood sucking real estate agents – Absolutely horrifying experience with NPM. Trust me, go for any other real estate agent. Would definitely be a million times better than NPM. Inexperienced, rude, condescending, and cunning agents who just aim to get money out of you at every opportunity. Best example of the agency theory - trusting them to do something on your behalf only to find… Read more
out that they are taking every opportunity to take advantage of your pockets. Made me lose faith in real estate agencies. Bad apple of the entire real estate firms in Australia.
Breath of fresh air – I was referred to NPM by a friend who had suggested I talk with them about my investment apartment. I purchased off the plan in 2014 and given the current media commentary was interested in any feedback I could get prior to settlement. Very interesting and engaging information that didn't feel like I was talking to a real estate agent, came away… Read more
very confident of where I stood in market, options and how we could move forward. Happy I made contact
Owners beware – One of our properties was managed by NPM Melbourne, not anymore. Most incompetent staff, zero follow-ups, poor service, arrogant and ignorant. Due to the fact, I believe, that most of their clients are overseas, they have ignored the local landlords and have forgotten what customer service means. Management fees are higher (for what reason, I… Read more
really don't know as they've done nothing for our tenants or ourselves), plus they charge statement fees....for what?!?! Especially when statements are emailed out, plus most other management companies do not charge it. Terrible, horrible experience. We have several properties, all managed by different management companies within the locality, NPM doesn't even come up to the heels of these companies. Shocking.
Poor follow up – I called up the receptionist asking for the 'schedule of fees' as i had a property available for lease in spencer street. They took down my details as procedure so the relevant person could contact me. My preferred method was through email, so when i didn't recieve a response in a few days i called up again and still no response. Seriously how… Read more
hard is it to send a pdf file of the fees charged for a service provided. Other competitors would have sent it within a few hours or the same day. It looks like they don't want to do business with a potential customer if you don't provide a phone number so the agent can pressure you with their sales tactics. I don't know if there fees are decent in the market but if it ain't readily availible something is not right.
Rent is negotiable? – Did some inspections on their new apartment near Southern Cross. The reason I did the inspection was because your property ads was the property I would like to inspect i.e. within budget. When arrived and asked for inspection the price all suddenly has gone up, there are some units available but the rates all irrelevant to their ads. Few weeks… Read more
later I did another inspection in another area conducted by the same property agent and the same person, the same thing also occurred. A lot of people spare their time to do the inspection, some of them come from a distance. Reason people are not inspecting every corner throughout the country is because they don't see your ads.
What is the difference between "out of the budget online" and "out of the budget"? Get your ads accurate and list the price correctly! People are not renting with you just because the rates has gone up! CBD area Inconsistent
