Natrad representative told me $295 Adrad radiator and $95 water pump were both made in Australia. I rang Adrad and discovered the radiator is made in China and the water pump is a Gmb and made in Thailand. Gmb water pump $55 at Bursons. They do offer 3 yr warranty on radiator if bought through Natrad. So you can buy a Fenix for $200 with 2 yr warranty or get an extra year for $100 with Natrad.
DO NOT buy one of this company’s ( Natrad) radiators, they bang on about having the best warranty policy in the business but that’s rubbish. I bought a radiator from this company about 8 months ago and it failed. I am a member of a 4wd club and was on a trip a short while ago and got a stick caught up in the fan which caused the radiator to… Read more
start to overheat, I pulled over when I noticed the temperature starting to rise, let the radiator cool down then refilled it. A week or so later I was getting a check done on a suspension problem and they noticed the radiator had a leak in it. I had them put another radiator in from Natrad and had the failed one sent back for warranty which after nearly 3 months they came back to me claiming it was not a faulty radiator. Turns out they are Plastic and allloy rubbish. So be aware that these radiators WILL NOT stand up to any kind of overheating at all.

poor support – brought a copper/brass radiator form Adrad to suit my Mitsubishi express van but bolts did not line up called them but got palm off straight away ended up zip tiing the radiator in. very poor support for a $650 radiator. the old radiator was a $150 eBay special that fit straight in. although it does work well don't expect any support.
Honesty and knowledge – First time using Natrad at Tingalpa. Brad was good at communicating, the relevant issues on my older Mercedes sprinter, what process needed to be undertaken to rectify my A/C. To be honest, as an older sprinter the availability of certain parts were no longer being made and were probably not going to be sourced any other way. Time and cost were… Read more
difficult to justify. To me and to everyone out there this is honesty and professionalism at its best. Recommend Brad and natrad Tingalpa your mechanical issues. Thanks
Worst radiator recon in 3 countries – Have a series one 4wd that had actually a Natrad radiator so I thought I'll drop it too NATRAD Midvale and have it reconditioned while I've engine tear down. i didn't need it for while, telling them that, needed top corners resolded and i thought given the bit less than getting a new one price, new core. No details were taken, I went back couple… Read more
weeks or so to pick it up, had to work out which was mine in bunch, no receipt I realised after as I was working, Radiator has been on back seat stored, went to put it in and actually looking at it, There was water in bottom, and rust under cap , top corners had unpainted area's that now had surface rust, I could even see blocked cores in top , OG core not new , $275 for bad rattle can paint job and bit of solder , I could've got new for another $50-$100. No stars Natrad... And I have to get another one as I don't trust it to go far , and I can't afford it .
Misleading website – Natrad's website makes a big deal about avoiding buying cheap imported radiators from overseas so better to deal with a local company. Fair enough so I ordered a radiator through Natrad only to end up with an imported made in China cheap looking radiator with missing parts. Might as well bought one from ebay for less money as their advertising is… Read more
quite misleading and you just end up with similar imported crap. I have to give them credit for quick delivery though. Lesson learnt.
Excellent Service – Diagnosis and repair of vehicle problem was thorough and comprehensive. Have full confidence in this company and not surprised they won Franchise of the Year. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend.
