Naturally Sheepskins Lambskin Pram Liner
1 review
Good alternative any other material – We were looking for something to make our pram a little more comfortable, originally looking at cotton but then I remembered the old sheepskin car seats my parents had which was naturally insulating and was sweat wicking. In hot Qld I bought the short wool to allow better cushioning effect which is definitely the case. It is long enough to cover… Read more
the head and full back for when they get older, while also covering the back of the knees leaving the bottom of the seat (where their shoes would be free and not get it muddy. I would like agree it is a universal fit with multiple slits to feed a 5 prong seatbelt as they grow, it is a little narrow but I do have wide pram seats and I think that's how they get it to fit smaller prams. It doesn't currently affect comfort, and it's so minor of a detail that it's negligible.
I chose Gray as it would marry into my colour scheme well, just know the colour is quite light. As a textile, the feeling when stroking it is very soft with no 'animal' smell (god the vegans are going to go after me for that comment). Straight after purchase there was some loose hairs but I think, as a natural product there might be some shedding to be had. I also bought a cheap slicker dog brush to brush out any food stains and dirt as you shouldn't really need to wash it.
As a natural material It does breathe in summer, just know you will still get hot walking in the sun so just keep the light off little ones and maybe invest in a little fan. It is meant to wick moisture off the bub, whilst the natural oils should grease them up (good for their skin). I'm sure it will do even better in winter, which would be more beneficial than a cotton liner.
You shouldn't ever need any replacements and so whilst pricy at $70, you don't need multiple, it should last the prams life (if not more) and has properties that should be good for your kiddo.
