Just purchased navman EZY100T/EZY200 second hand only to discover that the previous owner was from either Newzealand or Australia, I am in England, how can I get this dat nav to work on British roads, I am unable to load the disk in the box as I do not have a disk drive, is it possible to download some appropriate software , I would appreciate some helpful suggestions, thank you

In Australia this Navman is no longer supported as its too old. i.e They stopped providing map updates some years ago. You are better off using the GPS / Location service on your mobile phone nowadays

Hello everyone, You should realise that when you purchase a “Navman” and it is, as mine did, described as having a lifetime map update available that Navman is simply lied to you in order to sell its products. Their lifetime and yours and mine are different to Navman. Beware of companies that are just dishonest like Navman

You didnt read the explanation my friend. Navman refer to the lifetime of the product. Not your lifetime. And these days such items based on technology become old and obselete very quickly. The problem is that maps are no longer available for this very old GPS. Furthermore its screen is very slow and rather unresponsive compared with the new Navman models. Another reason why is beyond its lifetime. Just give it up and use the GPS on your smartphone. Or are you still using one of those little old "dumb" phones with the push buttons? PS Navman support thier GPS navigators for longer than other brands such as TomTom and Garvin.

Wish I was smart like you think you are eh. A device like a Navman doesn’t have a lifetime because it has never been alive. It would be reasonable to believe that you are referring to an alive person or someone who can read (human) for the thick. You simply are dishonest and trying to hide behind lies. Have a nice day.

Hi I have a Navman Ezy series 255 LMT I'm having trouble with it not connecting to the GPS I have upgraded maps on my PC computer and done everything but it just won't connect I've also done a reset by using the pin in the back and then when I turn it on I can't get it past the language stage the we'll just keeps turning what should I do

Hang on a minute....do not all Navmans get free life time maps?just rang your 0800 number, 10.30am to 700pm what a pain having to ring you and give the serial number...come you guys...there is plenty of room for improvement here...i would not have bought this if i knew down the track you were going to pull this little stunt...lifetime means the lifetime of the mug that bought this ezy 200 does it not???

AU and NZ maps are installed as standard. This GPS also qualified for lifetime free maps for both AU and NZ. Though no longer regularly updated as its getting rather old

EZY100T , hi, I seem to have spent hours waiting for the update map download to initiate, as my map is 2018 and hasn't got some of the updated roads on it. I've done it the same way as usual but still it won't play ball, does this mean it's now a paper weight, or have you changed the way the updates work. MTB

Can you use this product in a boat?

No different to the GPS/Location on your mobile phone. Uses the same satellites. So it shows your location anywhere. Just needs 12v power source. Not sure why you would want to use it on a boat as it gives directions for driving on roads. Not waterways. So no water depths, channels or port/starboard navigation markers.

When I bought this NAVMAN free lifetime map upgrades was promised. Now you have discontinued support for my model without any notice. Do you provide a free upgrade model or a discounted rate? Last time I updated this model was in 2017....and its failure to support me during a drive through Brisbane highlighted its shortcomings.

Hi, I have just purchased a new Navman EZY450LMT from a friend who received it in December 2018 as an unwanted gift. They have lost the CD/DVD that comes with it, Am I able to access the free map updates without the CD/DVD? Cheers, Nick

Yes. Just download the latest Navdesk software from the Navman site. Then install and run it. Next connect your Navman to your PC with the USB cable. The software will detect your navman and scan it, then list any updates. The internal software of your navman may also be updated in the process as well as making a backup on your PC. Always select the latest map update from the list of map updates available.

Navman EZY 255LMT..worked for half the trip. Now it won't hold a charge...has a white screen with some faint barcode looking stripes on it. When it powers up it does come up the the Navman page but then just does the whole white screen thing. No noise on it either. It is not very old...bought second hand. Is it useless now...should I throw it out? Out of warranty unfortunately.

I had the same thing - it turned out to be my charging cable was faulty. I plugged mine into my computer to charge (using that cable) and it worked again. (And I replaced the cable on ebay)

Same problem with the EZY260. Gone through $70 trying new cables. Terrible battery on these things. It will be my last navman. Looking at other options now.

Hi. I have a Navman Ezy 100 it's barely used but every time I wanna use it, it takes like 15 or more mins to get GPS connectivity, doesn't matter where I am it's the same. So much so that is rather not use it. Is there a solution to this or has anyone encountered the same problem?

I live in the country and mine takes less than 5 minutes, are you in a city area? are multi storey buildings affecting it? I know that mine does get a bit lost when I head right into Sydney although it does recover quickly

I had an older model NAVMAN we bought in 2006 especially for a trip to Perisher and back. It had this same problem from about 1 month after we bought it. I thought it would perform OK during the trip. Wrong. Just the other side of Warwick it lost the signal and spent 7 days and 3000km trying to get it back. I took it back to Harvey Norman who provided pathetic after sales service. They finally took it back and two weeks later gave me a used replacement with a dead pixel. Stay away from NAVMAN GPS at any price.
