The price of the Navman My80T and the EZY40 and the MY-30?
I really don't know these answers. I commented on the fact that the Navman didn't communicate with an apple computer, which made it nearly impossible for me to do updates. The other problem for me was that the Navman didn't turn on and off with the car ignition as the Garmin does.
I have a Mac and want to buy a Navman. Could I use a friend's PC for the start up instructions and for map updating? Toni Hyne
Yes you could, but we are an all Mac family. The model Navman I purchased didn't automatically turn on with ignition where as the Garmin does & maybe others. That was a real pain to me.
Why does my MY80T just go blank after running for a while? It is operating in the cradle, it will not operate out of the cradle.
Hi Geoff I had to send my Navman back through Harvey Norman were I brought it to get it repaired, I had the problem of it freezing or going blank or even rolling & was lucky to get it to go for 10min, Before I sent it back the help desk told me to reset the factory setting from in the unit this didn't help the next step was to put it on the computer & reload the software from scratch from the disc, this also didn't fix the problem so had to send it back, your unit doesn't sound like its playing up as bad as mine but could be heading that way, so try the reloads & good luck.
