NCM T7 Trekking E-bike

OK so lets forget about the delivery time because that is outside everyone's control in Australia due to the large distances covered and the fact the I am in WA which is virtually another country. I ordered the NCM T7 28". I have put it together (make sure you follow the instructions carefully) don't try and be a smart butt like me and think you can do it without looking at the instructions. Also the Youtube videos are a help make sure you watch before you get started.

Once built and all things tested with a short ride, I slime filled the tyres and added a mirror etc.

One thing I needed to do was remove the thumb throttle (as we are in WA and the law is that the power must be delivered by pedalling only). The cables mostly have a what looks like a connector with two arrows and I can confirm that they do come apart; BUT you must apply more force than you thought you would.

Anyway back to the bike.

All of the components seem to be of good quality and it seemed to be built to a good standard.

My second ride was 14km to test the capability of the bike on hills and what will be my normal riding route. Well the bike performed really well, I was very pleasantly surprised and happy with my online purchase.

Obviously this has only been a short ride but so far so good. This bike replaces a totally illegal ebike with 750w of power (3 times the WA limit for cycle paths) and I can hardly tell the difference as i generally only rode to 25kph but the torque of this motor means that 250w works on the hills better than the 750w bike I had.

Anyway Here's to many Km's of happy trouble free riding to work and back in the perfect Perth Weather.

Personal Additions: Mirror, Panier Bag, Under Saddle Bag, Quadlock iPhone Mount, Bottle Holder.

PS The battery indicator still showed 100% after 14km's.
