Nescafé coffee sachets – I have tried every coffee sachet on the market. Hands down Nescafé are the best and I’ve been buying them for many years. However I noticed in the last 4-5 months they have become weaker and sweeter. Has the recipe changed, what is going on. Would love more feedback. Show details

Not happy JAN! – My morning luxury has always been a hazelnut latte. Not sure what I’d call it now, but def not the original flavour and not even enjoyable. Very disappointed.please change the recipe back! Show details

What has happened :( – I thought I finally found some coffee I loved without needing sugar. I have been drinking the hazelnut and caramel daily (sometimes more) for a long time and now all of a sudden the flavours have changed in both to the point they’re unpalatable and I’m pouring my coffee down the sink. I can’t live without coffee and no one wants me to lol. So these boxes will be going in the bin and I’ll have to try some other brands. Very disappointed. Show details

What happened to the Hazlenut latte – I have been drinking hazelnut latte for a couple of years its the only coffee I drink. The last 3 boxes I have purchased contained different coloured sachets. A brown colour sachet that was definitely not Hazlenut. It tastes like a burnt caramel. Hope this is rectified quickly nescafe. I won’t be buying any more. Show details

Nescafé form answer – The same answer from Nescafé regarding the poor decision to change their sachets is an insult to their customers.obviously Nescafé customers know more about the product issues than Nescafé does. Show details

No Hazelnut flavour – Hazelnut Latte has been my favourite flavour for years with Caramel Latte second. Sad to say since the new packaging neither has any distinct flavour. In fact, as the sachet's are the same colour in both flavours, I would say they both tasted exactly the same. Very Very disappointing! Show details

Lackluster flavour – Opened my first box of hazelnut latte with brown sachets and definitely no hazelnut flavour. Second coffee of the day, first one green sachet beautiful...second one tasteless crap! You say the flavour hasn't changed well somewhere along the line it has because that is not the hazelnut coffee that I drink. Show details

So so disappointed in the last 2 boxes – So very disappointing to open a box of hazelnut latte and find it tastes nothing like the usual delicious hazelnut. This is the second largest box that has been like this even the sashes are brown and say coffee. Show details

Bought from wollies and was happy to exchange for the right sashes, the manager opened a box off the shelf and it was the same creamy and frothy COFFEE flavour in those boxes. Seriously dissatisfied with Nescafé atm. Did not have any issues with any other flavours since the repackage has started months ago.

Hazel nut Latte change of packaging and product – I have had the same experience. I have been drinking hazelnut latte for years . Love it. Yes it came out in a brown packet to my shock. It doesn't taste the same as it used to. I'd like to know who is responsible for changing the package from the original green packaging to the generic green. Has the formula changed?? – I bought a box last week from Woolworhts. It was the new packaging. I have been drinking this since it came on the shelf. But this last box tastes very different. It has a more hazelnut /cinnomon taste with a bitter aftertaste. I felt sick after drinking the first one and havent wanted to try again. What has changed? Show details

Cheapened the taste absolutely terrible – I have bought all varieties of the Nescafe' range including Caramel, Moccha, Hazelnut which was my favourite now the sachets are weak in taste and even using two does not compare with the old taste and like a latte' thickness that I used to get out of one sachet should be frothy, creamy and smell of coffee and also changing the packaging.… Read more

Cheapening a product and adding a new package to then each fortnight with all 3 major supermarkets rotating by having them on special at 1/2 price is woeful, please go back to the original sachets and stop ripping us the customer off.....not happy.

Warning - Definite issue with this product – I drink Nescafe Hazelnut Latte every workday, stirring in an additional teaspoon of Nescafe Blend 43. Later that week, with the new kettle, it happened again. I suspected the Nescafe Blend 43 this time, as it was it was not new. Made another cup, all was good. The rest of the week was fine, too. I had at least a cup a day.

This morning, the strong metallic taste recurred. Am I having a stroke? I threw out the Nescafe Blend 43. It was a lot older than I thought, after checking the expiry date. I made another cup with only the Nescafe Hazelnut sachet, confirming it was the problem.

The taste is certainly not consistent, having in some sachets from the same pack a strong metallic/chemical taste.

Perhaps one of the stabilisers in the formula has been overdosed in the factory? It would account for the taste. The list of stabiliser codes listed on the packet, along with the chemical is shown below:

340 - Potassium phosphate (monobasic); Potassium phosphate (dibasic); or Potassium phosphate (tribasic) 452 - Potassium polymetaphosphate; Sodium metaphosphate (insoluble), or Sodium polyphosphates (glassy) 451 - Potassium tripolyphosphate or Sodium tripolyphosphate 331 - Sodium citrate or Sodium dihydrogen citrate

Not sure whether the issues were all from the same batch (packet), but batch markings on the packet are: 100685810 12396834 43927561

Nice, sweet, comforting - or used to be – Nice wake-me-up. We do add one Equal as well for a bit of extra sweetness. The flavour is mild, but definitely hazelnut. So easy, so quick. Nice and frothy. cupboard and there is a marked taste difference between late 2018 vs 2019 expiry). Pity, the old one was really good. I wonder if they have changed their test facilities to another place and the testers have a different taste expectation?

Alright but not as smooth or fragrant – Good for a quick fix but Im not a big fan of the range because as expected, nothing is as good as a nicely-brewed coffee which can be quite smooth. I love the fragrance of coffee but this didn't really give off that smell. Thought I would give hazelnut a shot because I like my coffee slightly on the sweeter side and surprisely it was delievered in that aspect

Excellent – Delicious and comforting

Aweful new and improved version – I used to love the Hazelnut Latte Nescafe sachets, I had many each day. I will never be purchasing again, the new improved version is disgusting, I would rather drink water! You have lost me as a customer, unless you bring back the YUMMY old version.

Bring back the old recipe! – I loved the old recipe! Was the only coffee I drank, I can't drink any other coffee as it either tastes horrible or it doesn't sit right in my stomach, but then I tried the old hazelnut coffee and knew I had to look no further. Now, I am drinking tea again, as I hate the new recipe, there was nothing wrong with the coffee but it was changed anyway. I will buy this again if the old recipe comes back.

Unbelievably bad – In one word? gross.The first time trying the 'new and improved' version will be the last
