Neta Platinum Garden Hose 12mm

Expensive and really terrible quality. Mine is only two years old and is hard to use. In fact I dread using it. Plus the actual hose spray fitting is second rate as well. Absolutely rubbish. For over a $100 and a 35 year warranty it kinks leaks and the outer layer is splitting. Might as well have got a $10 hose from a cheap shop. Mitre 10 have replaced it once and it's now ready to be replaced again. Hose fittings are great but don't bother with hoses Show details

Terrible product – I purchased the hose with the 25 year warranty believing I was buying a quality product. The label indicated a high rating for its anti-kinking properties and durability. Initially the hose became sticky and started to darken colour. From day one, I have always had to manually remove kinks from the hose even with the tap on utilising the water… Read more

pressure to keep the hose rigid. The layers on the hose have delaminated in sections and fallen apart. The exterior coating of the hose is spilt and peeling off. The brass fittings slide off after a few minutes when the tap is on due to the breakdown of the hose. time went by the hose. Im only halfway into the warranty period and tried to make a claim with Neta. The I phoned they told me they wont honour the warranty due to me not being able to provide a receipt. How convenient! I'm happy to supply photos and video evidence or even send the hose back to Neta. My last communication was through their website contact page. still waiting for a response.

making a good decision, even though the product cost roughly 130$. I could not have been more wrong ! After roughly two months, the outer layer of the hose literally began to melt to such a degree, that it was untouchable! Do Not consider purchasing the product under any circumstances. I’m extremely disappointed with neta! , to the point of never purchasing products bearing the neta name again! On the positive side, mitre 10 Picton, refunded the purchase price instantly, without fuss, as they had already received identical products, with the same issues from other customers.
