Zero stars!!! – I am utterly disappointed in New Waves extremely poor handling of customer complaints. I will not be buying their products ever again and will be ensuring my family and friends don't waste their money either. I purchased 2 of these milk frothers (1 for a gift) and within 8 months they had both stopped working. I requested replacements through… Read more

"your habitat" (who were excellent to deal with) they organised this and eventually we recieved the 2 new frothers (after one was lost in the post and the other turned up a different colour and extremely poorly packaged). The two replacement have since ceased working after 8 months (used once a day only) and have been told now that the warranty is based on the purchase date and not on the replacement date! How ridiculous, why would a warranty be connected to a customer and not to the product itself. If it is a decent product you would expect that at $90 price tag (each) that they would work for more than the 1 year warranty period at least. I personally contacted new wave and was given the same information.

These frothers caused a hot spot (burnt milk) from the beginning and regularly turned themselves on if not turned off at the outlet. Eventually they don't turn on at all, I'd know after seeing 4 operate they all id the sae thing after about 8 months. Do not waste your time with this company... It looks good It causes hot spots and burns the milk, it is expensive and New Wave has an extremely poor warranty service.

Heating of milk – Has a hot spot - heating service goes brown in one small area (about one quarter surface area). Harder to clean this area as a result. I would also like to have the froth more integrated with the milk rather than floating on top, although this may not be possible. Froths all types of milk that I have tried Has a hot spot - heating service goes brown in one small area (about one quarter surface area).

New Wave Automatic Milk Frother – Froths milk very well. Issues I had were the instruction manual in Chinglish - didn't make any sense and didn't have the required information regarding the different heating/frothing levels. Had an issue with mine and it was replaced, customer service was good. Just for reassurance I'll be purchasing a brand I'm familiar with next time. Froths… Read more

milk well. Good customer service Instruction manual in broken English and doesn't have the information regarding the different settings - which is kind of important.

It was a great milk frother with creamy froth – It was a great milk frother with plenty of creamy froth. The temperature was perfect. The downside was that milk would burn on surface and require heavy cleaning immediately after use. If making more then 2 cups there would be a delay as you definitely needed to clean rigorously before reuse. I have had mine 5 months and only used it approx 5… Read more

times per week. It is now in the rubbish bin because it is not heating or frothing. great froth and perfect temperature. Easy to use stopped heating and frothing

Great for the kids hot chocolates – This little unit is in constant use in my house for coffees and hot chocolates. Its provides frothy milk at the right temperature every time. No more scalding drinks or having to wait. . The timer and the milk level mark make its use fool proof. It is easy to clean and this needs to be done after each use otherwise milk can burn on the non stick… Read more

surface. We love it ! Easy to use, right tenperature, great froth The second whisk attachment froths the milk too much

Pros and Cons – It's not too bad, reasonably priced really and holds a lot of milk. Reasonably easy to clean. The biggest down side IMO is the milk runs down the side when you poor it. No matter how fast or slow (well on our one anyway). This is a pain getting it all over the bench etc. It does froth up well and heats it up quick and to a good temp. We find with… Read more

hi lo you get a real big head of froth. Great if that's what you're after, possibly boardline too much. Not too bad to clean, can get a burnt bit on the bottom but always wipes off easily. All in all, it's not bad, the poor pouring system being the only let down really but it is a bit of a deal breaker. Good head of froth, heats to good temp and quick Runs down the side when pouring - big pain.

New wave milk frother – I got mine through flybuys and love it!!! Works so quicky, makes wonderful froth that stands up after shaking chocolate on it and the machine is so easy to clean up. Just take out the whisk part, wipe with a cloth and you are done. I would highly recommend this product. Its fantastic. Easy to clean, makes excellent froth If I purchased it, it could be a little expensive compared with newer machines on themarket. Show 2 replies

Great milk throther but impossible to clean – Bought this from House at Fountain Gate. The machine does a fantastic job frothing the milk so this part i am extremely happy with, however it is impossible to clean. It leaves a large burn residue on the base that will not come off. This takes away the enjoyment of the coffee. I have contacted the supplier will keep you informed. makes a fantastic froth Burnt milk residue - impossible to clean

Three strikes and you're out!! – I bought this frother in early July 2012. In a few days, it started to scald and burn the milk making it very difficult to clean. Next, it stopped working. Exchanged it for a new one. This one had a loose handle when I pulled it from its box. No visible screws to tighten the handle so back to the store it went. Exchanged it for yet another… Read more

one. This THIRD one stopped working in about three days (after about three uses) plus the start button was bent and angled inward. (And here I thought that GOOD things come in threes!!!!) NOT!!! Taking this THIRD one back for a full refund this time. Definitely NOT recommended based on my experiences. Looked good and frothed a slightly larger amount of milk than other frothers. Didn't do the job it was designed to do (on a consistent basis).

This frother is perfect! Can't live without my capuccinos anymore!!! – This milk frother has completely changed the taste of my old boring coffees. I've been having my capuccinos daily now and I am loving it! The frother works quietly and frothes the milk in around 60 seconds. It is the perfect companion for my Sunbeam Cafe Ristretto. I make the coffee while the milk is being frothed and I just have to combine the… Read more

two in a mug to enjoy my perfect cup of coffee.

It's very practical and easy to keep clean. The frother also comes with two different attachments: 1 for milk frothing, and 1 for milk heating only. There's a clip attachement on the inside of the lid so you can keep either of the attachments in the jug ready for use and other attachement cliped to the lid and you just swap them around according to your needs.

I whole heartedly recommend the Expressi Milk Frother by Aldi as it has worked brilliantly every time, every day since I bought it. Reliable, quick, quiet and inexpensive Nothing! I am completely in love with it!!!

Aldi milk frother was better than this one – Thankfully it isn't expensive as I lost receipt. As soon as you plug it in, it begins burning the bottom of the milk. Without being turned on at the front switches. Yes, it cleans easily enough, but the taste of burnt milk is not at all pleasant. The Lumina milk frother without a lid that they have once a yr is much much better. You can also do… Read more

two full size hot chocolates with the other, not this one. small, looks burnt milk, potential danger if left plugged in though it wasn't on.

Very good for the price – I bought it as an addition to my new coffee machine, and it is great. The kids love it, because it heats the milk by spinning it at the same time (like you would do with the steam from your expresso machine minus the water), it makes the milk more creamy so my hot choc are better!!! There are 2 spinner, a plane which is perfect for late or milk… Read more ·  1

base drinks, a twisted which make great froth for capuccinos.

I use it with milk and soy, no problem as long as you respect the max level for the spinner.

You have to clean it between each use because there is a build up of "burned" milk at the bottom but it cleans easily. Same thing if you were heating milk on the cooktop.

I use full cream milk and soy so the fat content may explain why it is easy to clean and why it is not really burnt at the bottom. Job done in 60 sec, easy to clean

Froths up great but burns the bottom each time – Was excited to purchase the frother and pleased with the result except for the burnt milk residue left on the bottom each time which is almost impossible to clean off - even after soaking over night. Took the appliance back to the store to be told that it was normal to have this happen. Froths up well and great temperature control milk scalding left each time on the base - impossible to clean

Great machine – I purchased this frother, before I got my Expressi from Aldi. This little frother is brilliant. It is quick, does scald the milk and is so easy to clean. Quiet and quick.  Show reply

Burns the bottom of the milk when using soy – Works well for normal milk but, as there is no temperature control or anything it heats up soy milk too much and the bottom comes out burnt with all froth and no milk. Inexpensive, small, easy to use and clean, good warranty/return policy Doesn't work for soy milk
