Nextgen Carpet Cleaning

Nextgen carpet cleaning worst cleaner and very abusive – A very unprofessional and dodgy company, and carpet cleaner. I was given the run around from the beginning and the secretary kept chopping and changing my appointments so I needed to take so many days off from work unpaid leave. [name removed] finally came to supposedly clean our carpets. He arrived 4 hours late, stunk so badly of marijuana and was very angry: extremely rude and abusive to both my elderly and I’ll mother and myself.

His machinery was very small, anyone could lift it and he complained when he looked at the steepness of our stairs.

He did not clean our carpets except for one hallway. (The online voucher I purchased was inclusive for 4 rooms and 2 hallways). Our 13 stairs were to be paid in cash to him as per NextGen’s Carpet rules.

He left his filthy hand prints all over our railing and walls whilst he was abusing us the whole time.

When he saw my stairs which are only 13, he called my mother and i liars and that we “wanted to rip him off like all the wogs do to him” as he claimed that they were 16 stairs. (This is clearly not true at all and I had the money plus a tip ready for him prior to his arrival).

In the end he damaged our walls, swore at us and ran out of our house and got into his car and drove off beeping his horn right down our laneway continuing to swear all the way down the lane. I have witnesses and photographic and other evidence of his actions.

I contacted Living Social by phone and emails many times who were not helpful or even considerate of our situation.

They purposely delayed to reply back to me and most of the times I had to deal with a different person regarding the same matter so I was mislead each time.

In the finale Living Social believed the carpet cleaner and refused to credit our voucher, give us a refund or even apologise for the inconveniences we were caused and more so the trauma we both experienced.

We are truly disgusted and have been very traumatised since this experience.

My poor mother was very frightened to allow anyone else to come to clean our carpets in case we experienced the same behaviours.

I needed to pay for a nurse to take care of my mother and keep her away from our home for a day so that I could employ another carpet cleaner.

The damages still remain on our walls as we need a carpenter to fix the damages as our home is heritage and only an experienced person can repair the walls and the wooden engravings / damages.

Please take our advice and do not waste your time and money with this company. They are incapable and should not be operating.

Terrible service! Be careful! – This company provides the worst service possible and is incredibly dodgy! Please be very careful when dealing with them! I bought a voucher, called them and they were fully booked until 3 weeks later. I waited all this time, asked a friend of mine to spend his own time and let the guy into the building, who then called me and said that he counted 16 steps to my apartment and their limit is 15 steps. He had a small, very small steam-cleaning machine from what my friend said, which I could carry myself or my friend. But instead, he didn’t want any help, he wanted extra cash to be paid upfront for this one extra step and when I said I wasn’t at home and my friend didn’t have cash, but I was happy to call the company and pay over the phone, he just said I was a liar and a bad person because I didn’t want to run from work, get cash and pay him. This was a shocking and an incredibly traumatic experience because what was told to me was offensive and extremely inappropriate. This is the opposite of a good service, it was shocking. I honestly cried after all the stress this has caused me. I then had to book another cleaner to come ASAP with another company and had no issues whatsoever. Now the company isn't replying my emails or taking the phone for two days in a row because they know they must reimburse me for the service I paid for but never received. Had to escalate it with Groupon, hopefully these dodgy merchants will not ruin anyone else's days.

Please anyone who decides to buy this voucher and deal with this company make sure that you at least do not get a cleaner with the phone number [details removed] – he is a very rude and unpleasant person, who I cannot believe is still working in service field.
