discolouring. 2 emails with conflicting information very disappointing as I do know they have been replacing them, They need to put a warning that coloured drinks / fruit stain the vessel.
Bought for my children for Xmas. They absolutely love it, and have experimented with all different kinds of slushies. they are more like a thickshake, creamy and just as good as the McDonald's ones. The money we have saved on icy drinks over the summer has been well worth having this machine in our home. It's so easy to use that my 7 year old nephew can make them when he comes to stay. Very happy with our purchase.

Secondly, there is weight to the unit, so you may not always be able to move around at a whim.
Now onto the good part. The Slushie is a huge hit at our place. The simplicity of use and let’s be honest, the clean up is easy too. Just make certain you clean within door flap entry as you will find, depending on your drink, sediment will appear.
Is the unit pricey? Yes, but is it worth it - Yes. The slushie consistency is perfect. You can increase the chill level to quicken the process or depending on choice of drink. Usually, for me, takes approximately 15 min to have our Frappes going. Make sure the ingredients are mix properly and infused. Made Frappes and good old Lemoncello.
Do recommend, so if you love slushies, this is a great addition to your household.
Small note : the on/off switch is pretty well hidden in the back. Look after the Ninja and it will last you
Follow-up · A follow up to questions. Cleanup isn't time consuming. The parts are large & easy to wash. Done within 5 minutes. Simply don't let the unit sit when finished having your creation. particular this past christmas. The big issue and its a pain in the backside is out awkward it is to clean. Yes there is a rinse cycle but if your making anything inparticular anything with fruit it is difficult to clean. If fact its a pain in the proverbial to get all all the fruit peices out in the spout area and also clean under the stainless centre. Clearly the designers did not take using fruit such as strawberries into account. I am using a toothpick in areas of the spout and even then its extremely difficult to gain access to all areas. yeah I know first world problem but I really do like to have spotless clean appliance after I clean them.

It’s still a novelty ,but takes up space on bench so I’ve packed away so you know that’s the end of use it needs to be out! It works well but could live without it!
