No regrets – I have had an Elgrand E50 since 2014 the only issue I have had is a replacement of the alternator, regular servicing has been a blessing, It is used weekly on local and other trips to Sydney on a regular basis, it has the 3.3 V6 and have never given me any issues, the transmission is the best I have ever driven, so smooth, one can hardly feel the… Read more

changes, It had 60,000 Ks when I bought it and now it has 172,000. The Body issues I have had is rust on the bottom of the sill panel behind the front right fender, and then I noticed some on the passenger side windscreen pillar, as well as some of the edges on the big sunroof. I also replaced one set of tyres and a set of rotors and pads, and a speed sensor from an Import wrecker, $50 not bad in 10 years, Oh and I replaced the belts , by choice, I have never had an issue with parts, super cheap, Repco and Auto Barn. The most unfortunate part is I have to up grade to an E 51 with the 3.5 V6 because of The rust issue. but then again I live 800 mtrs from 7 Mile beach NSW South Coast. I am changing to a 2004 E51 3.5 V6 with 40,000 Ks and it is impeccable. I looked at other brands even a Mercedes ML350 plenty of goodies and great comfort and performance, however I kept coming back to an Elgrand. Comfort, performance, has never let me down, I have never had to call road service at any time, in my opinion the Elgrand is the most underrated Van / camper people mover than has ever been imported to Australia, We have also had 2 Nissan CUBES, 1.4 for 12 years, and now a 1.5 with a CVT.

E59 – Wo got this van 2nd hand thinking this world be great for transporting 7 kids and two adults. Seating wise is great, space wise when you have 3 carseats and 2 nappy bags and 1 single seat pram no nor do much having 3 kids under 5 in carseats there doesn't leave much room. While a great van I wouldn't purchase another, I live in SA and the Rego… Read more

office doesn't like them and transferring to SA Rego from interstate or re registering is a major headache, I brought it from VIC unlicenced and had to get it recomplaince plated for 7 seats as it was only plated for 5 when come into the country have a new carseat bolt installed into the floor before I could re Rego it. SA doesn't like elgrands and makes to do hard to Rego them here. Once they start breaking down or need specialty parts for wear and tear they are hard to get and quiet often need to be imported. I wouldn't buy another one

Absolutely LOVE this van! It is perfect for every day and every activity! – Bought this vehicle over 5 years ago and it is still fantastic. I have a heap of kids which means a heap of driving and a heap of every where, all the time. This has been one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. I highly recommend this vehicle every chance I get!  Show details

Does exactly what I want – Might / will be... a tad hungry around town stop start driving, but she's a big unit & 3.5 petrol only has the 4 speed auto ,.I get around 550 +kms per tank on open road driving, I find it is not a lot thirstier than my 2005 outback on trips,...I have removed all rear seating and use it as a weekend camper for two,.. and mountain bike gear,. has absolutely tons of room ,tons of power and tons of comfort ,we totally love it  Show details

Fuel Tank Capacity – I love my Elgrand Mine is low profile, a problem, it scrapes on street kerbs, etc I am a retired farmer. It cops a lot of abuse, overloading, now more a work vehicle than a handsome people mover. Yes I would buy another one. My fuel tank holds exactly 72 litres to the lip. how about yours/  Show details

Beautiful drive, super reliable – I've had my 4x4 petrol Ellie for two years, has every luxury, and they still all work! Very reliable, tons of go and driver comfort. High quality everything, still looks brand new. Only gripe be economy but it's a 2 tonne van with tons of power - enough said. Great vehicle !  Show details

Nissan Elgrand E50 Great Car!!! – 1999 model E50 Rider VG33 V6 RWD Bought car in Jan 2012 after much research and searching for the right one From my research found this model V6 to be very reliable and bulletproof. (Same motor as pathfinder of same era) and it has been! Its a great car. comfy, reliable, roomy, excellent to drive and plenty of power. Real nice to drive,… Read more

Drives more like a car than a van and the V6 has plenty of punch.

the interior is super lux with full leather very adjustable seating,(7 seater) plush carpet and electric curtains.

If you have been looking for one, dont hesitate they are awesome cars.

Not had a single problem since bought

Parts are a little harder to come across because full import but most car import places can order them for you, there are also a few in wrecking yards.

The only bad thing about it is the fuel consumption 400Ks from a tank but you have to expect that from such a big car!!!!! Reliable, comfortable best looking van around thirsty!!!
