Noble's Pureau Questions & Answers
VerifiedCan you tell me please if your small water bottles that are BPA Free are still likely to leach micro plastics when I refill them from the carton of Pureau water. Thanks, Nola

Where can I buy this Noble's Pureau water Coles seems to be running out and we like this water because its pure. we live in south Australia Adelaide.
Do you know that this water is very acidic and has no minerals in it?
Does the plastic bladder produce any residual contamination?
Does nobles pureau contain arsenic
Regarding the review that states that this water is merely tap water, I dispute that. I have put in a previous review which garnered around 1,900 responses for Nobles Water. This is because it was recommended that I use this water or, if none available, distilled water for my electrical equipment. Had it been tap water, it wouldn't have been able to be consumed. Thank you.
Is the water distilled?
This water is dangerous. They call it dead water for a reason. Water is meant to contain minerals. When it doesn’t, it takes minerals from your body, namely your bones. I developed really sore hands and joints after using this product for a month or two. I would not recommend it.
Omg ! No wonder i have bad joint pain ! I just switched to tasmanian mountain spring water ! Its even cheaper than this distilled water !
Is pureau water distilled
It isn't distilled, it is highly filtered. I've recently switched to Tasmanian Mountain Water which is 100% natural spring water and tastes good too, doesn't leave you dry in the throat. It does contain traces of fluoride but this is natural, not added. Tasmanian Mountain H2O is available at Woolworths in 10 litre casks, and is cheaper than Pureau.
So it's fair to say that water absorbs minerals, so would drinking such pure water have a negative effect by drawing minerals from your body, pureau says who cares about minerals because you get them from your diet but maybe we should care if their water is acting like a mineral sponge?
I recently bought a new espresso machine that came with a hardness test to set the descale time. I tested the pureau water just to check, and it showed up as level 5 hardness, which is the highest level. How would this be, as I thought hardness measures the amount of minerals in water?
I still use Pureau when making coffee as it doesn't leave any residue in my coffee maker. For drinking water I've discovered Tasmanian Mountain Water which is fantastic (10/10) when it comes to taste. No more aching joints either, it's light mineral content seems to be looking after my joints as well.
Dear Nobles I have purchased x3 10litre boxes of your water and this first box has a chemically soapy taste to it that is very off putting. My son stated he could taste the same taste in the last 5 litre box we purchased. What is this contaminant? regards E Hampton
The water is supposed to be free of any chlorine, bacteria, fluoride, sodium and other impurities so you will need to ask the manufacturer this question. I am a consumer that bought one of their products.. To help you here is their phone number 02 9833 9866.
While the Pureau may be 'pure', it appears to lack the elements and minerals that one needs. What trace elements are in the water?
It doesn't say any trace elements on the box. I buy Tasmanian mountain spring water in the casket box as this does have trace elements in it as its filtered spring water. But pureau is better than drinking town water isn't it?
The amount of trace elements even in mineral water is generally negligible compared to the body's requirements, so it isn't a problem that there aren't any trace elements in the water, as you get your trace elements from your food. If you want you can add a small amount of sugar or powdered sports drink concentrate (both of which may accelerate absorption), or a small amount of salt, epsom salts, etc. It won't be pure anymore, but at least you'll know exactly what's in it.
Can i use pureau water from cask to make colloidal silver
What is the metal in the metallic foil used as a bladder in pureau water?
The bladder is made of food grade product lining, the foil on the outside of the bladder is to stop ultra violet light from making the water go green with algae. Its not a metal like aluminum foil, its HDPE with a reflective coating.
Can it be used in lead acid batteries
No i would not use it in batteries, you need to use distilled water or de-ionised water.
Yes you can use it in batteries. Trojan Batteries make note that reverse osmosis water can be used. Reverse osmosis is part of the Pureau process. external link
How much plastic is in this water?
No micro plastics in the cask water thats in a bladder.
So many questions not answered yet... Is there a reason?
Ive only just received the email regarding questions about pureau water.
I have been told that water with a ph above 9 is best for you. Is this correct.?
7.40 is the recomended ph level, but 9 is ok as the human organs will adjust the ph to its correct balance. But the higher or lower the ph level is from 0 to 14 the body organs have to work harder to adjust the balance for optimal balance of 7.40.
Are you suggesting Pureau has a ph above 9? Seems like a general question about water and not about Pureau. For info on Pureau's ph level, go here. external link
Hi, I’ve been buying 10l casks of pureau for two years. Recently I read about estrogenic compounds in our water supply. Does pureau also filter these compounds out?
That question im not too sure about,if you google it you may find the answer for it.
They only filter out as long as they put a filter in the filter housing
What is the ph?
I havent tested the pureau brand of water but at a guess id say it would be around the 8.00 to 9.00 ph.
What is the shelf life of the water if stored correctly?
If you buy water thats fully sealed in a bladder and in a box, there is no expiry or best before date because light cant penetrate the box and bladder to create the green slime that we all know about. Sunlight creates bacteria in water in a very short time, that is why i only buy cask water as it has no use by date and is perfect for someone who is a prepper like me.
Define 'stored correctly'. Pureau has a 'best before' date printed on the bottom of the box and usually on the neck of bottles.
