Perfect for our kid's room – We have a few different sizes of the Noirot Spot Plus. This 1000W is for our kid's room. We decided to pay the extra $40 to get the one with timer, not so much for the timer itself, but for the LCD screen which allows us to set the exact temperature. This is simple to use. No need to worry about different heat settings. Just set the desired temperature, and the thing does its work. Show details

Fabulous Heater – Great heat and non drying. I have attached to wall avoiding the need for casters. Slimlined and modern looking producing a non skin drying heat with a lovely ambiance. I have now used this heater for five years and it has proven to be economical against other forms of heating.  Show details

Brilliant heater for the bedroom – A great heater for the bedroom. Have had a bigger one in the past and just needed something to take the chill of the bedroom and didn't want to run the air conditioner all night. It is brilliant. Absolutely silent and gets nice and warm without being too hot. Comes with a timer and a really easy to use set of buttons to set the temperature. Totally recommend.  Show details

Good for baby's room – It heats up the room pretty fast and warm and quiet. Great for kids/baby's room during night time. It's pretty safe to use and not too hot. It has digital set up which is easy to set up for timer and temperature. The downside is one of wheel keeps coming out which is annoying..  Show details

Crap – We have been through three of these heaters and all three crapped themselves not even a month into use. We used these heaters to help keep our premi baby warm during winter in our arctic feel house at the time. The heat was good that came from them as it didn't overheat or make you uncomfortable  Show details

Wheels need work – The heater is good BUT the wheels are the Huge Problem because it falls off all the time How hard is it to remodel this feature. Otherwise the Hester's work well. We have 3 different sizes and they all work very well but the wheels have all fallen off

avoid at all cost! – We bought a 2yo house with 3 Noirot panel heaters as sole heating source. Within 12 months the first had completely died and 3 yrs later (house only 5yrs old), two are dead and one is faulty. Noirot wont honour the guarantee as we didnt build the house and previous owners didn't leave receipts. They have been extremely difficult to deal with. Dont expect any customer service if you have problems!

Noirot 1000 Watt Spot / Panel Heater With Timer ( 73583T ) – We purchased this after much research for our new baby's bedroom. It's just a small room so we got the 1000watt model and it heats the room well. I keep the room at around 17-18deg c during the winter months and I love that my (now toddler) is comfortable. Safety was a big issue for us and I like that you can mount it to the wall and it has a… Read more

timer and thermostat.

I also like that the heater does not blow air and that is good for asthma/hayfever sufferers.

I have not noticed a significant difference in our power bill and now that we are expecting our second baby, I am going to buy another one. Timer function, silent, thermostat, lifetime warranty. Expensive, thermostat does not have temp dial - it is numbered
