Great basic pre-paid phone – I have always owned a Nokia, ever since the 5110 was released. Although I own an iphone which I use regularly, I bought this Nokia 2220 (Silver $50 brand new) for camping trips and when I go out on weekends (clubs and pubs). SMS.

The graphics on this phone isn't as sharp as modern smart phones, but it does the job. The interface is easy to navigate, and has the ability to store reminders (in calendars) and alarms.

The quality of the phone call is average, not as crisp as other phones, but good enough.

The size is perfect, small and sleek. The design is simple yet elegant.

I also bought a third party battery from ebay as a spare and only cost approximately $5 AU with free postage - it's quite hard to find a decent phone with a replaceable battery. Simple and nice! – If you’re after a simple mobile phone then the Nokia 2220 slide could be the phone for you, I find it very basic to use, it's not too complicate. It has a nice slide cover so buttons are not accidently pressed. The battery has up to 20 days standby with 337 minutes talk time. Also has loud speaker, fm radio, camera, video but no blue tooth. Easy to use.
