Nokia 5.4 (2020)

I purchased this phone for $300 AUD several years ago, and to be honest in hindsight, if they paid me $300 AUD for it I wouldn't take it. Basically a brick is more cost effective and useful as a mobile phone. HMD realise how useless it is, have promised an update for the operating system but never delivered that operating system. Every day you will have to restart it at least 5 times a day. Every time you restart, 20% of battery gone. Even after 5 restarts apps freeze, screen freezes. It's useless junk, and now HMD have moved away from HMD Nokia to focus on HMD phones, basically two tin cans and a string would be more use as a phone than HMD anything. Nokia should be sued as well for allowing sub standard junk manufacturers to purchase their license. Office Works Australia should not be selling substandard products. As they say, it is what it is.

Worst phone ever owned – I have been using mobiles for nearly 20 years and never have I been so frustrated with a phone. Camera is terrible. Can't turn off emergency function and the power buttons constantly glitches and calls emergency number. Phone constantly freezing. Do not believe other reviews from other sites claiming it's great because it's far from it. Do not buy.

Everytime you plug charger in the screen reloads. Can't switch off display turn off settings. Feel like I'm a child and this phone trying to be my parents. It's the worst thing I've ever owned. Volume bar stays on screen after pressing volume button and won't disappear until you reset phone. There is literally nothing good about this brick. I will go on. Camera quality is poor at best. Camera features don't work properly and constantly loading/changing light etc. The keyboard glitches all the time. Images don't load online properly always taking few seconds to display. Oh did I mention google invades every part of my phone. I really enjoyed smashing this phone to smithereens. Nokia sucks.

Nokia Just keeps on getting better – Nice looking phone and so fast to use apps. Battery is great too. Have not had any trouble at all with this phone so far just as good of the other ones i have had in the past, the Nokia 6 was a great phone but was getting a bit old so time to update. Takes really good pictures. The only thing is the google button at the bottom is a bit hard to get used to, I like the old way on the previous phone. Video play is really great. And the sound is so good and loud, you will never miss a call as when you get to my age you need to have it loud so you don't miss a call. Would recommend this one price is really good for what you get. Bought it from Office Works as if you ever have a problem when you first buy it, you just swap it for another one.

Never by Nokia phone again!! – I'm very disappointed with the modern Nokia phone compared to the older original iconic phones of the 90s. I have a Nokia 5.4 and it has been bad from the start, dogged with issues even after installing latest phone and app updates? 1. Phone does not always ring on incoming calls, sometimes rings once then stops, 2. Doesn't always display the incoming call do you can't answer it 3. Regularly freezes on apps and websites and Intermittent slow performance 4. Shortcut option on power button suddenly stopped working even though settings remain the same. 5. Random Call cuts off mid call or goes to speaker as if cheek is pressing buttons 6. One Sim drops off and has to be reset my restarting phone 7. Can't remember the other issues?
